Mr Schadenfruede, I don't usually judge people purely on their actions until I get to know them, but if you're forced to anonymously cause others grief in order to get your kicks, then I pretty much assume that you've failed miserably at your life, and I feel sorry for you, I really do; the fact that you're going to be stuck on your computer in your mum's basement for the rest of your life, however, is very much your own fault, and for that, I don't pity you.

The construction of the MC museum has officially started.

The first objects that will be displayed in the museum have just been acquired. It is a family of four squids that are currently held in separate enclosures near the museum.

I want dark to spawn back the sticky piston, piston and shears we had. that way they'll be the resurrected first shears/pistons rather than just some random shears/pistons.

the clubhouse is fully built. It's by vinnie's villa, and is free to use, with the exception of areas which require members/staff or a small fee.

How do you keep the non members out of the members section?

I can't, but it's no fun going there on your own and AFAIK I'm the only staff member ATM, so I'd be there most of the time if someone else goes.

Try and design something which prevents somone getting in without a password and i'll try and break in (without destroying any blocks or redstone)!

Everyone, be advised, one of the four squids previously captured and donated to the MC museum just escaped.

The escape was noticed at 6:21 pm (GMT) today by a museum staff member. We strongly advise caution as this animal named Raymond is dangerous and extremely aggressive towards humans. Please avoid water biomes until the dangerous squid is captured and brought back in its enclosure.

However, the three remaining squids are still kept in their cages. One of them (named Eric) has recently been placed in its new enclosure in the museum itself and is ready for display.

Just because it wasn't you this time doesn't mean it wasn't you before. I'd also advise you not to PM me about this matter again. I am perfectly entitled to believe that there is another griefer or ne'er-do-well; just because something akin to what happened before had happened again does not absolve any of the accused of blame.

They also didn't do what I kept finding done before, which was the doors pinched and the front door in my house open (since you can't close it again except from the inside, they obviously didn't go through the house and back out like what usually happened).

I know, I didn't possess the inclination to spend 10 minutes traversing a tunnel to be able to close it. The iron door being open isn't a huge giveaway anyway, considering it was open at the time of the last incident, whoever tried to mine through the wall instead of using it must've been devoid of some brain cells.

Someone is griefing. I am blamed for griefing, resulting in me getting banned. The griefing is still continuing. Clearly it wasnt me. If you have a brain, you can put 2+2 together.

Others got banned for griefing before you, and still it continued; does that mean that they were innocent? A robber is jailed for robbing a house, yet houses are still robbed even though he's in jail, does that make the robber innocent?

As I said before, and will state only once more, just because someone is still griefing doesn't mean that everyone who was banned for it before is absolved of blame.

The admins should just get an 'Admin Invisibilty' plugin to observe me and not just jump to conclusions. Just because someone gets blamed for something they didnt do at school, doesnt mean they shoudnt be able to give a reason and proof they didnt do it...

I have HORRIBLE lag. Little cheap netbook... What do I expect? Anyway, optimine/fog helped marginally, but I can't really play still. I've heard there's a sort of companion to both of those that deals with chunk saving and the removal of polygons, yaddayadda. I stumbled upon it yesterday, but now I can't find it! Any help here?

Not sure what you're asking there. So you're looking for an MC mod that improves the performances of the game without adding or modifying any of its content. Sounds like a functional mod to me.

If you more or less remember the name of your mod, you could find it with this list. And if not, well you could still find another interesting mod as a compensation!

@Zn: stop posting about how stuff was not you, everyone is against you, nobody believes you and you are not getting re whitelisted. I was in the exact same place as you when i was banned, your allowed a bit of time to be sad but then you just get on with it and find a new server to play on. Dakka is not the only one out there, sure its one of the most awesome, but you need to stop, if you carry on people will hate you even more. There are loads of good ones out there with loads of cool things on them, take the one i found called mad realms, its a great place with lots of cool people. so stop moaning and do yourself a favour.

I can only support and applaud halo on this one.

Halo got banned. But he got over it, found a new server (where I hope he's having a great time) and now contributes to this thread in a constructive manner. I now hope other people that found themselves banned from the server will act as responsibly and maturely as he did.

Im having a great time and our server just got back up from the up date so its time to go have some fun!
