Oh, the joys of Chinese knockoffs, without which we would be denied such joys as Robocar Energon (SEND THE BOOKS!). And it turns out they do consoles as well.
What is the most absurd knockoff game or console you have ever seen? I'm going with either the Treamcast (obvious one) or the Polystation (which was actually based on the NES).

This:
Sorry for the size.
To any person planning on buying this:
No, it is not the same as a Wii.
16-bit graphics is not a good thing.
There is a reason you don't see a "Zone" section of games at any store.
Save another $50 - $100 and buy a real console.
Only buy to spite friends.

16 bit graphics - did they just stick motion controls on some old Mega Drives and give it a Wii style shell?

There aren't any motion controls. The controllers are wrieless but other than that, are standard joypads by the look of it.
They are just trying to confuse people into thinking that wireless=motion control=Wii when it clearly doesn't.
And yes, what they basically do is get an old SNES/NES internals or whatever with a bunch of hard wired games on a chip and stick in a new plastic shell.

I used to have something like that. Shaped like a N64 controller, had something like 100 old NES/Sega games in it.
