Hatfield herts

He peoples with far more painting skill then me. I'm once again trying to short cut painting skill with a technique. I was thinking about doing a black spray then trying to "block of" half a model and spray the rest red. I cant decide on a technique to cover half the model to prevent the most amount overlap or am i just over thinking this?

I use painters tape. Less of a chance of pulling the paint off metal models.

Vehicle sized models you can use painters masking tape and blu-tac and mark off the areas.

Anything smaller, i'd just do it by hand you'll spend more time masking then you would painting.

UK - Warwickshire

Silly putty can make a very good mask for places where tape is too fiddly. But can be tricky to get a hard clean line with. Be creative with your marking off, and look into how airbrush artists do things on other surfaces to miniatures.

Cool sound like some good tips there chaps did not think about blue tac I try and stay away from brush work as much as I can, i'm just that bad at it but i,m trying
