The Raptors slashed at the Necrons, with Argylle wondering how the things were maintaining their altitude. The Lightning Claws which he disdained were serving the Raptor champion well in the mid-air combat, allowing him to quickly parry the swiping claws of the Flayed Ones where two others fell, unable to wield their blades quickly enough. Argylle sliced the arms off of the one closest to him, following with a downward swipe that cut the machine in half from head to toe. He grabbed the Necron's arms as they fell, preventing them reassembling when they hit the ground. Counting briefly, he saw that this left them out numbered two to one.

Laughing manically, Argylle tucked his wings, rolling inside the swipe of another Flayed One and stabbing it through the chest. His daemon blade exerted itself, pouring power into the robot. The Necron's insides glowed a brilliant green before it exploded, the daemon feeding on the released energy. Behind, he saw the champion tear another Necron apart with his claws while another Raptor fired his meltagun down through the head of another, melting its entire upper body. The last Raptor screamed as three Flayed Ones tore his arms off. Argylle ran all four of them through with a quick thrust. His power armour strained under the triple explosion while his daemon fed on both energy and soul. Argylle looked up to see the final Flayed One preparing a slash aimed at him. It jerked as the claws of the Raptor champion sprouted from its chest, then ripped outwards.

[Come on, we need to leave before more come, or these ones repair themselves] Argylle shouted.
Wordlessly, the final two Raptors followed him through the sky.

The fallen remains of the Necron Flayed Ones looked up at the retreating Raptors, the cold merciless eyes of the reconstructing Necrons did not stray from the Chaos marines but soon returned to its duties while Argyle and his few remaining troops arrived at the base, the remains of fanatical Tau now hung from jagged pikes and blades.

Marius looks down on the stormtroopers with slight amusement
"I am on... a crusade of absolution... by law... I am not... liable for trial... under the Imperium... Inquisition... or Ordo Malleus... courts... release me or aid me... either way you cannot hold me here... where is... Inquisitor Gausse... I was told... He would be here..."

how can the necrons repair themselves, just curious, because power weapons should negate it?

[OOC] Because Matt Ward. I don't actually know if anything can guarantee negating Necron repairs. Phase Blades and other C'tan weapons maybe.

[BIC] The turrets tracked Argylle and his men for a moment before they were identified as allies. The walls were newly decorated with the dripping remains of the Tau warriors.

[We shall defend for a while] Argylle declared. [I want to see what these C'tan are planning]

(OOC) Not all of the Warriors were slain by the Daemon Weapon/Power weapon and so were able to reconstruct

"He's not here, he's dead. A Chaos Lord killed or wounded him but the Titans guns would have defiantly killed him, you also have no right to demand anything from us and will be executed if you move for your crimes. That Daemons actions almost lead to the destruction of the Cadian Gate and your 'little betrayal' has given some ideas to your wolf friends, around a hundred Space Wolves stole a space craft and fled into the Eye hailing you as their 'liberator'."

The Emperors Children bowed to the newly arrived commander, still wild after brutally murdering interrogating the Tau.

"My Lord, it seems the Tau are idolizing a 'Serpent' figure. We were unable to gain any other information."

Kais stood high upon a mountain, looking down upon all the wretched foes wo would dare to oppose thier strength. Numerous Tau warriors had been destroyed, which had severely angered him, and, his master.

The Elite guard had been granted life once again, draining the Serpents power, but granting Kais a nigh unstoppable squad of Elite guard.

Like he needed it...

Kais heard a loud crunch of stone and rubble, and turned his head slightly to see the Serpent, his master, watching over him.

"Master," Kais began, turning fully, and bowing his head. "These Chaos scum killed many fine Warriors of mine. I am asking you to help in this dire situation. We must wipe thier filth clean off this planet. Will you aid me, my Lord? For I am powerful, but worried that it may not be enough if I do not have our divine strength."

"Yes.....but now we must deal with a greater threat...near the Titan is a shrine to a dead god.....we must destroy it but the Titan stands in our way along with numerous foes but my little Shas'O. You will be the first of my new.....soldiers.....you will be deathless and almighty....."

Shas falls to the ground but slowly spreads out his arms as he rises into the air, the power of the Star Serpent flows through his veins and begins to gurgle blood as his bones begin to twist and become stronger...

Kais watches in apprehension as his body transorms...

... he becomes more powerful...

... the pain stops, and he falls to the floor, breathing heavily, then he looks at himself, and sees what has changed...

Shas has become similar to a Necron in some ways, his flesh mostly replaced by metal and green energies glowing within his metallic chest. His eyes are replaced by small slits while his skull is stripped of flesh and now is crowned by a symbol of the Star Serpent, his breathing is slow and asthmatic....

"Thank you Master, your gift is too kind," Kais says, his voice slightly metallic. "I will go to do your bidding."

Kais then turns back, looking down the cliff, and leaping off it, his guards following in turn.

The C'tan flashed through Argylle's mind as the marine spoke. Why would they be following a C'tan? he wondered.

"Are there any still left alive?" he asked the marine.
"Three, my lord. We intended to have six, but..." the smell of blood and fear was heavy in the air. Argylle could imagine what had happened. He would have preferred to have seen it himself, but he still had three toys. Touching his sword against the marine's cheek, he felt the daemon uncoil into the soldier's body, igniting every nerve with a feeling which would be agony to any but a worshipper of Slaanesh. The marine collapsed writhing in pleasure.

"Well, let's see what we can get out of them," he whispered to the blade. The daemon laughed like a child in his mind, anticipating many hours of fun to come.

(OOC) Where do you find the light green, I can't find it...


"Good, kill the Imperials near the Titan as well they may prove a problem later....but now show the Chaos Scum true fear. Advance on their base and show them your new power!"

Marius looks down at the storm trooper
"Stole a ship from whom? If I remember correctly it was requisitioned with full authority from the cadians there and they traveled into the eye to hold back the Daemons which would threaten the weakened Cadian gate. And as for liberation, there is nothing for the Space wolves to be Liberated from, we are the most free willed chapter in the galaxy. So they were not liberated from anything, unless of course they were being held captive by those of your ilk. In which case I see the wrong laying squarely with you. Now please get out of my way. i do not wish to kill you. And I have no interest in waiting for my own demise. The titan here is a greater threat than you realise. And there are semi confirmed readings coming through my hud of a C'tan. You cannot afford to lose me as an ally. And trust me when I say that you do not want me as an enemy. And you can put that meltagun down, my chassis is reinforced with the same ceramic alloy's that the hull of a storm raven is, that melta will do nothing to harm me."

"No but a orbital beam will scorch you and the accursed one from this world, she carries something in her mind. Leave if you wish, I care not for your petty words. Now go, before I have you executed."

The Imperials teleport away in a second with a confused Syess wondering out of Marius's shadow

Marius watches them go and on the vox channel he makes a descision
"Take me before your courts for this trial"

Marius is teleported aboard a Inquisition ship along with Syess, he is surrounded by Las-Cannons, Multi-Meltas, Plasma Cannons and all manner of anti-armour weapons. Marius is confronted by an Inquisitor who hands him a large parchment:

"You Marius, are accused of Heresy, Assistance of Daemons and allowing Syrath the Immortal to gain favour with all four of the Chaos Gods, allowing Chaos to take root in your troops, the killing of Mikal and housing Xenos, how do you plead?"

"Listen not to the treacherous snake! I am the Serpent, and my to time to Rise has come... Join me, Shas'O Kais, and we can usurp the power of my superior form!


OOC: Also, blood reaper, are you the Serpent or SS? Cause dere are two C'tan Shard playing around right now...

"Quite! I am the Star Serpent, I have haunted the galaxy for its entire life span. Now shut up you foolish beast!"

"I plead innocent toall charges; to heresy, Innocent, I was not in control of my body when this chassis lead the forces of chaos against my homeland, rather it was the malignant prescence named Tyranic Marta. A completely different entity constructed by the daemons of that ship and forced into the chassis with me. This prescence has been excised from the chassis. Because I was not in control of my body I plead innocent.

To the assistance of daemons, innocent, I did not assist a daemon ever, rather it was a daemon who was more or less coerced into helping our cause. Furthur more he did not gain favor with the chaos gods, rather he lost favor dramatically, in this case I am inncocent

Allowing chaos to take root in my troops, innocent, under my command the only space wolf that was even seen to be working for chaos was myself, and even then as I have previously stated I am innocent of this as well.

The killing of Mikal, again I am innocent, Tyranic Marta was in control when Mikal was struck down. Furthur more there are no Imperial laws pertaining to my actions with the Eldar soulstones and there is no court precedant.

So I plead innocent to all charges."

"Lies, Tyranic Marta has always been in control, you were his puppet and happily offered yourself to Chaos. Syrath too easily used you to be a simple trick, he commanded your mind. Your corruption is obvious, and it is dangerous. We even have recordings taken from the helms of the Warriors of Syrath's who spied on you during the invasion of Fenris, if you wish to see them and see your true corruption then do so."

Mariu sdiscards the mans argument with a flick of his mighty wrist.
"I cannot Lie, as a servant of russ I have no need to. What I speak is the truth. If you cannot see that perhaps it is you who should be on the court docks, for perversion of justice."

"What is going on here? I am unsure of what you are talking about," Kais asks, confused. "Please, tell me what you are talking about?!"

"No, you assisted the daemon to Demi-god hood, and spread corruption within the Space Wolves who have fallen into Civil war. Many a loyal wolf have died and many more will before the taint can be purged."

We were splt by the Necroti, we must be reunited to properly be one again!

"I still dont think you quite get it. I wasnt in control of this chassis. The entity known as Tyranic Marta was in control. If you want to trial someone, drag him out of the warp and put him on the dock for these charges. I am not responisble for his actions."

(Reaper you need to mentally treat Marius and Marta as different characters not the same thing)

"How do we do that Marius, find the scum Marius and destroy him. If you do so, we'll leave you and the accursed one alone. So Marius, will you kill Marta or will he arise once more?"

Marius sways gently on the spot as he shifts his massive feet, shifting into story teller mode, his mind whipping back to the past.
"Let me explain something to you all.

Months after the battle of the plains of blood, I was reconstructed by Syrath the immortal, my body, my mind, were rebuilt, but the fool made me stronger, no organic parts remain, I am, essentially a robot with a Space wolf soul. Now something happened that syrath did not anticipate. When he resucitated me he also brought with me the animus known as Tyranic Marta. He was locked in my mind. I fought mindlessly with him for many months without end. It was when Lucian Icefang of my own Great company appeared in Syrath's realm seeking my unholy delivrer, was I able to best the daemon inside me and cast him out. He became something less in that instant, something small and weak and with a twitch of my mind he was destroyed. His soul devoured by the holy light of the Emperor's astronomican. There is nothing left of the entity known as Tyranic Marta"
