Marius gestures broadly as they come to the top of a rise and puts down the vox caster and slams his blade into the ground point first. Leaving it swaying there.
{The warriors are our allies. For the moment that is all you need to know. I will explain more later. For now let us concentrate on your powers. I want you to do something for me. You see that rocky out crop over there?}

She nods

{Watch it for me, and concentrate on all your questions, bundle them up and from them, force an emotion out of it, that emotion is curiousity, I want you to funnel that emotion, while you are looking at that outcrop. force all that feeling to the front of your mind and concentrate on those rocks. when you have done that tell me.}

The Eldar concentrates on the pile of stones, she nodded to Marius as she turned to him;

"I have done so Master Marius, what next?"

{Now while you are concentrating hard think of one of the questions you have for me, bring it to the front ofg your mind, blot everything else out and concentrate on it.}

Marius watches as the Eldar woman concentrates carefully and then her eyes snap open glowing blue.

"Marius... the words, so many words, make it stop, make it stop!"

{Concentrate girl concentrate. Hold your questionn to the front of your mind, say it out loud if you have to.}

Sanctimonia concentrates hard muttering a broken question about Marius' origions. Then her eyes snap open, the light of realisation in them

"You were a space wolf, a fighter, you battled across the stars. Then you were imprisoned in a cage of steel. A dreadnought. It was of your own choosing. Yu fought. And then were struck down... by.. by..."

{By the man who makes up one third of your genetic material. Yes. I had become something not myself. A forign entity had taken over my body and was using it to do the work of Chaos... Mikal stopped me. And he was broken during that battle. The entity that had control of me flensed the skin from his bones and tore out his tongue, he was bleeding everywhere his armour must have been drowning in his own blood when he died. But he stopped me. And if he did not Fenris would be in a worse state than it is now.}

"How did I know the answer to my question Marius?"

{You plucked it from the warp. If one is patient and strong willed enough they can glean any information they want to from the twisting nether. They must know thier limitations however, for delving too deeply can send you mad. You nearly experienced it yourself. I was there to pull you back from the brink if you failed but those voices you heard were both daemons trying to feed you lies, and the truths of understanding and knowlege. Both swirling across each other. Which is why you cannot simply seek to gain knowlege from the warp. You must know what to ask for.}

"Yes...Master. I ask one more question, what and who is Syrath? He says he is a 'Saint' though, he does not seem like one and mutters many things behind my back. He seems to fear me....I do not know why. Why does father fear me Master Marius?"

{I know not the origins of the daemon who controls this army. But he is a daemon. A beast from the warp who has been defied by not one, not two but by all three of your genetic forebears. He sees you as a mastery of those people, a melding of thier genetic structure into something that he can control. And yet he passes you on to me, like a toy that he has grown bored of he frgets what power you possess and the power of innocence is strong indeed. You have no corruption upon your shoulders. And it is up to me to shape you as I will. He has done this, allowed this, with great trepidation. For I am the only being he truly fears. IF that daemon can even feel fear. He is in his own way terrified that you, a product of not only your genetics but also of my tutelage will oneday become a threat to him. And this is sour in his throat as he is directly responisble for this.}

"May I ask Marius, did my ancestors wrong you Marius, while Syrath said you would not of encountered my ancestor Terik did my foremother Syess effect your life, I must know if I am to over come my inner corruption."

Syrath's ugly head looms over the two like a shadow, he coughs and opens his mouth;

"Marius, time is short and the men grow wrestless, let us begin planning and be on our way and the girl? Has she proved useful?"

Also do you think WARORK could rejoin or is he still pressed for time?

He may rejoin, ive seen him around the forums. He may not be happy with where this has gone tho

Marius looks down and Sanctimonia to speak but is interrupted by Syrath. He however sais.
{We will finish this later Sanctimonia. Syrath, She has indeed been a help, I was waiting on your approval for my plans as a marine insited you be warned.}

not of the top of my head sorry, this and rps on the basement aere the only ones i have been participating in im slightly unaware of the dakka rp forums status. I do however intend to start anouther 40K rp of my own... i will need your help however. This one shall not fail

Reaper you sure do run some crazy RPs...in these last two or three pages I got a real Joker/Batman relationship from Marius and Syrath...

I never read that far back...whatever happened to the inquisitors and my old Commissar character (who I didn't like very much anyway)?

and ur commissar is still kicking as far as im aware, otherwise he might have been wiped by the titan

I might as well use this one for the restarted version unless you guys don't want to continue and you can get past the Titan and it's good to see your back WARORK. And Syrath's ment to be like that with Marius, the daemon is his exact opposite.

Yeah I should be able to be around now...obviously not much room to squeeze into this RP now but if you plan to change it soon then sure, I'll be there...
