"Marius is back, excellent! So Marius how have you been? I see you mudered my sister and you've becomoe one with the machine, but what about me? It's always about you! What about me? ME?! I was trapped in a black stone listening to your friend begging me to let him out, he even offered to serve me! But where were you!"

Marius looks at the daemon with expressionless cyan colored eyes and a hingeless mouth begins to speak.
{I was dead. It is a strange thing death. You think you have felt it all the first time, but like a good book it seems, every time you die, you learn something new. I learned this time that my body can be destroyed, utterly. If one so desires. And yet I can reshape myself. This necron body has self repair capabilities. But these are as nothing when you see what I can do to regenerate myself. It is incredible how a little faith in the emperr can give you enternal life. Coupled with a base understanding of the warp. I simply cannot die. It is an amazing feeling, destroying your opponent and watching his world tumble down around you. Thats where I was Syrath. I watched your world die.

And then there was the dark. Always darkness. Everything fades to a blackness that can only be described as a total absense of light. You have knowlge of yourself. Understanding of your form. You can touch it, and yet you cannot see. It is the darkness of uncertainty. The fear of the unknown as mortals call it. However if one sheds ones doubts then one can see the light. And what is beyond... I cannot describe. Yet I will always have a way back. A door. A tunnel. Yet I must find it in the dark. It can take days. Weeks. But always I find it.

I was drawn to this world like a bear to honey. The warp touch of it was indeleble. It will stain my soul forever what this world has witnessed. And yet there is salvation possible. The inquisition knows this. As does the forces of chaos. Even the orks have a use for the world. It will only be a matter of timeuntil the Tyranids come to claim it for thier own. But I came regardless of the struggles. Because I felt the presence of an old friend. One who has now been corrupted by a force not from this dimension. One who.. sadly. Is now pitted against me. Or soon will be.

Regardless Syrath here I stand before you now. As an immortal. An equal to your resiliancy. And yet we are not on even keel. You have something I understand. That is rather dear to me. Free him. Free my world. Let them at peace. Because Syrath I have an offer for you. A partnership. Because as you know. I am Marius. And worlds fear me. Chaos itself shrinks at my name. Even you deep down understand that at the core of everything. there is a part of ou that is terrified that I will snap in my control and destroy you over and over again and fill you with not torment, not sensation. But apathy. I will destro you so many times that boredom will become your fellow. Your companion. And that above all will torment you.

But Syrath. I have an offer. One which, perhaps you cannot refuse. First.

Free Mikal. Restore Fenris.

And shatter your staff.}

"You sly, sly dog. I'm impressed, you remind me of myself, you've shown me that humanity is my pawn and you are my king. I'll snap my staff and free Mikal, and Fenris, but then you will help me tare through this galaxy, one piece at a time."

Syrath tears a rip in reality, Mikal's bloody body falls through it. Syrath tares open a second rift and shouts a command, Mikal is gone in seconds and a feeling of relief is in Mariuses mind as Syrath places his staff on his knee and with a last thought of hatred in his eyes snaps it in two, both pieces shattering into dust. Syrath looks up at Marius and smiles;

"So, old friend what now?"

**Tyranic Marta**

{Now I offer a partnership. I know that without your staff your powers are greatly diminished. But that is not a matter. It is your mind I need to destroy the C'tan. I offer an alliance.

A permanant one.}

**blood reaper**

"Good, Hector, Henry! Bring me my contracts!"

Two small imp daemons arrive and carry a contract and lot of ink and quill towards Marius;

"Just sign here my friend."

I Marius, former human being, swear myself to a pact with mighty saint of Chaos, Syrath and promise to assist and aid Syrath when I am called up in return for the safety of my friends, the Imperium and my beliefs. Syrath may not try to destroy or corrupt the Space Wolves and will aid you when called up by yourself.

Marius looks at the contract and shakes his head a little.
{I should have expected something Like this, But I want a subclause added that NO matter what the circumstances are I will always be allowed to discuss viability, tactics and of course will have the option to refuse to kill or harm Sace marines or imperial guardsmen.}

**blood reaper**

"Fine by me, just sign here Marius. Make my day and our deal permanent".

**Tyranic Marta**

Marius looks at the page dubiously and scans it for fineprint etc but decides to check one mroe thing.
{Syrath. I will sign this if you swear on your daemonhood that what I see here is all that is on this contract with nothing else there.}

**blood reaper**

"I swear it Marius, I can't lie. I was cursed by my former master, and once I broke my staff I lost the power to change contracts and signatures. What you see is what you get."

**Tyranic Marta**

Marius signs the contract

"Yes....yes...yes....I've dreamed of this day Marius. Go, tell the C'tan that you have vanquished me but take some gifts with you."

A Symbol of Syrath burns into Marius's arm While Black armoured Chaos marines burst from the ground, each heavily armoured and covered in arcane runes.

**Tyranic Marta**

(The symbol is iffy considering the self repair *Should* heal it but ill let it stand)
Marius nods.
{Have weaponary ready to take him down. He will probably notice that the psyche of this body has changed.}

Marius begins his descent of the tower...

(OOC) A Mark of Syrath is a psychic thing, not necessarily a physical one. Everyone who has made a deal or pact with Syrath will gain it and its benefits, which will be reveled a bit later but are not negative.

Marius reaches the bottom of the Spire reaching a troop of 1st War-Legion Griefkommando, an elite charade of Syrath's elite, they bow before one of Space Wolf origin carrying a power sword and modified grenade launcher similar to Syrath's;

"High Commandment Marius, I am Commandment Hentro. I was assigned as your adviser and second in command by Syrath, he said you would be more comfortable with a former Wolf of Fenris and I stepped up to the task. Our objective is the C'tan shard known as the Star Serpent, it is quite powerful but we know it is not invincible but may become truly immortal if its second shard reaches it in time. We have the ability to trap the beast but we will have to weaken it before we can properly reduce it to smaller shards."

**Tyranic Marta**

{Can this be done from a distance or must we be closer to do so?}

**blood reaper**

"Close, quite close. And the being must be weakened to do so, its hard to get it properly in range."

**Tyranic Marta**

Marius nods almost imperceptably.
{I thought as much. What we need is a way of deploying the weapon at a distance. Can the grenades be mounted on missles? A havok missle would be perfect}

**blood reaper**

"We have Havocs, but the grenade is fragile. Should we wait till later, maybe....its a long shot but we could use the Titans weapons to weaken it before a direct hit from the grenade. We'd shard it for sure, but the problem is the Titan's current controller. "

**Tyranic Marta**

{I can destroy the sorceror in command of the titan. It will be as childs play, especially compared to the shard. Be not worried commandant. Now we shall move on the titan. But we shall not do in broad view. No we shall meet this sorceror on his terms, and make them our terms. Have a rhino brought up for us. And get me a vox caster this body has no radio capablities}

"Yes Commander, um should I contact Syrath he does have say in the matter of Command in this situation. Shall I contact him?"

**Tyranic Marta**

{Do so. But bring that rhino up. I shall need it either way}

The Rhino arrives, it's warped hull and Daemonic symbols pulse with energy while Syrath looks down on Marius;

"It seems you have made yourself quite acquainted with the troops Marius, you've proved a valuable commander Marius. Prepare your forces and meet with this Sorcerer. I also have also created a companion for you, please don't kill her, my powers are diminished."

A sharp armoured, highly decorated Eldar Sorcerer. She bows and places her Glaive on the ground;

"Using the shredded mind of Terik, the psyche of Syess and traits of your old friend Mikal. I have not named whatever this thing is, nor have I taught it to speak. You'll have to shape its character, please don't harm it. I tire of making new Servents, Coraks and Arrius died months ago."

**Tyranic Marta**

Looking down on the creature Marius was a little shocked. Here aside from anything else, was a symbol of the might of the warp. A creature... no a person, an eldar infact, created purely from mental prowess. Mariu swas unsure if he could duplicate the feat. And he would have felt wrong trying. But now that this... person. Was here. He was responisble for it. It would be a long road to make it a worthy servant... especially if it couldnt speak. But that road was one he was willing to take.

"Yes...sir....I am here to serve you milord....I'm made for that purpose....Father Syrath promissed you would be a good master."

The creature bows;

"What is my name Master Marius?"

Marius looks at the strange eldar and lifts her chin with a finger and gazes steadily at her. The hard glare of the Necron like form would have unnerved many warriors but she did not flinch. It appears Syrath had not taught her to fear either. That was good. It would not bode well for his thrall to fear him. Fear was a good motivator, but it did not inspire purity of thought. And that was what he needed. A name came to mind and he discarded it, but then looked back over it and agreed with himself. Yes that would do.

{Rise my girl, be known as Sanctimonia, for pure you are in spirit. And That will soon change I fear. But that purity deserves a memoriam. For many of us... We are not pure.}

Sanctimonia bows, the Chaos Champion returns with a Vox Recorder while Syrath smiles, his black glee so obvious it bloats out the grey sun;

"Why are we not pure Master Marius? You are wise indeed, Syrath said so. He told me that you would give me much advice, and thank you very much for the name Master. Father Syrath will be pleased!"

OOC: What do you think of my creation Marta, I was sure you'd crush it.

she is uncorrupted, thus she is not something for me to worry about, mutilate, decimate, or otherwise kill. Thus she is a good servant.

Marius chuckles in his mind before answering.
{It doesn't take much to please Syrath. You will find that the easier someone is to please the easier they are to manipulate. Fortunatley for Syrath, your father? I have no interest in manipulating him. He should watch his back however. I may not always be this nice. Regardless Sanctimonia, walk with me, we need to talk.}
He takes the caster and walks away with his new thrall, his swor resting on one shoulder the other hand griping the caster, but he still uses it to gesture.

Good, hope Durza or Shas is back soon, though I think Shas is better at posting during the week? Though, with the Christmas holidays coming up School gets busy but still more RP time awaits so I think the next pages should just be talking and not much action as we don't want to move too far ahead of the others.

Marius sighs a little
{Syrath is your father in the sense that you are essentially, here because of him. He created you. But your body and mind are amalgums of the Phisiques and Psyche's of several different entities, one of whom was my brother... long ago, before I became... this. You asked me before why we are not pure? Thas the thing, you are pure. It is I who am not. I have done terrible things in the name of my god. Terrible things. Things that have stained my soul black.}

He touches her head with one finger
{You have not had these slights uon your soul... But I fear that it will not be long until fate throws those things into your path. Only you will now how to cope with that when the time comes, I will be here to give you any help you need. But you must be the one who understands, I cannot do that for you. What I can do is teach you, and hone your mind so that when the time does come when, more than likely, you will have to choose between what is right, and what is easy. You will make the descision that sits well in your heart... Although, I fear even that small choice will be denied you. All we can do is hope Sanctimonia. Now listen, I am going to teach you some of what I know. Ask me questions, that is how you will learn.}

May I ask, how do I channel my Psychic powers properly my Master, Syrath told me random blasts and bursts would do well if I was to properly use the sorceries of Chaos but I wish to do more, if I was to enter combat situations and what are these warriors that surround us, they are tall and brutal but have some mystery behind them."
