Aside from Dakka, what else are you doing to relax and restore your soul and body today?

I slept in, then made two kinds of waffles from scratch for breakfast- unsweetened ones as vehicles for fruit preserves, and sweet cinnamon ones to carry real NH/VT maple syrup. Then I watched two movies with the wife- Wilde and Un Amour le Femme, before putting football on. The Pats/Seattle game has been accompanied by a lovely Indonesian-style garlic & ginger pork chop, some garum masala chicken with jasmine & saffron rice, and now a bowl of cashews with mimosas. Fresh OJ & champagne may be my favorite Sunday drink, even over a good beer. Trying to decide if I'm going to do any modeling work- I need to get a Sorcerer on a bike put together for 40k.

Sometimes you just have to appreciate how good we have it.

Eat, drink, go to work, cry and sleep.

The same things I do every day.



(After work today it was gaming, Dishonoured and Xcom of course)

Playing with the kids and painting up some Menoth.
I should add watching Cadfael into the mix.

A very relaxing day! (I took a break on studying for my upcoming exams)

Slept in, watched a movie (Argo), going to play some Borderlands 2 in a bit, and make spicy tacos from scratch* later.

Had a little chow, little beer, did some yard work, kick backed with an autobiography of a Muslim knight who lived during the third crusade and served directly under Saladin.

Woke up with a woman in my bed for the first time in 6 months, ate my bland oatmeal made with water, took a shower, did some homework, played some videogames, wrote part of my book, corrupted someone's wish on Dakka, more homework, more videogames, realized I have no car, nor food in my house... FML, *eats from jar of peanut butter* calls day a success.

Went out shopping for some hygiene products
Made breakfast=corn beef hash with eggs
Watched Prometheus and Eden Log while doing Accounting and Calc 2 homework
and updated my HOI3 AAR....
all and all a relaxing day after a crazy weekend

Well on Sunday my family got a new dog and today (being Monday here in Oz) Im having a fun time keep said dog for destroying the place while everyone else is at work. Our other dog isn't happy about having a new friend so she isn't making it easy. Not to mention the fact that our cat hasn't even made an appearance to get his breakfast as of yet.

So far shes peed on the floor once and i've confiscated 2 shoes, a sock and a towel from her... and its only 9:45 in the morning. This is going to be a long day.


But i like the way you think Mannahnin, waffles sound good. Maybe with a side of scrambled eggs.

This morning I went pheasant hunting with my dad. Now I'm watching Psych. I may do my physics homework later, if the mood strikes me.

I woke up to a call from family pestering me.
I went on the PC to find my internet speed was still soul-destroyingly slow.
My sister turned up over an hour late to pick up some stuff for my mum.
Had a terrible crap.
Had an okay shower marred by how all the hair around the back of my head managed to tangle into a large clump.
Put on my last pair of clean and dry socks to find they had holes in them.
Came downstairs to find the boiler had pissed water everywhere and I can't turn it on, so it's absolutely freezing.
Fixed internet for about an hour.
Had a pot noodle that gave me a stomach ache.
Played some M&B that was fun to start with but got stupid near the end.
Internet still dead in the water.
Tried to write some more and failed.
Tried to fix internet.
Had a Galaxy Bar (Highlight of my day).
And now it's Monday.

No, it just wasn't as enjoyable as it should have been.

I woke up, realised that last night had caugh up with me and was hitting me repeatedly on the inside of my skull and went back to sleep for 3 hours.
I woke up again, got out of bed, had a couple of slices of bread and butter, then walked to the university (about 30 minutes) then I did an online Gas Laws assessment that was supposed to take 2 hours but took 3.5 due to the lack of a definition for a value used in an equation, then I walked home and had a paracetomol before spending 2 hours making myself a lasagna, then played on Pokemon white 2 before typing this.

I did my coursework for Justice Administration, and have been playing Mass Effect 3 since.

Woke up, showered, filled out my daily report for work, went to work, talked with doctors and national guard members at work, watched 1408 twice at work, watched Talladega Nights, cleaned up after work, ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, came back to my hotel, lounging around until Walking Dead, streaming TWD hopefully on AMC.com, and possibly taking another shower cuz, damn, they're awesome. I could live in the shower, seriously, if I could accomplish everything in there. Hmm, I suppose with a speaker phone I could do some work in there, can already get laid and eat/drink in the shower, can perform liquid purging from the body...huh, I guess a guy COULD live in the shower.

Also, since this is a game site, I guess I should add that I'll probably build more of my Warpath Marauders in a little while.

Went to church, painted some warmachine, now waiting for Mythbusters to roll around on the TV. Awsome day School tomorrow

Side note, Argo was awesome, Sinister was terrible.

Today was supposed to be a nice slow day that turned into one anxious day. HOWEVER, now my daughter is asleep, and the walking dead starts in 6 minutes so there is chance of recovery! and Yes we have it so good in life!

One of the doctors I was working with today said that Sinister was amazing and I should make time to go see it in theaters. Guy also said Taken 2 was a decent movie, probably a B on a school-grade scale.

I had a mello yellow today.

Drinking and cleaning. Roommate and I rearranged the living room and the game room.

I had wings and a few beers at a local tavern that was showing the Patriots game.

I was hoping to meet up with some other adventurers and go loot a dungeon, but "no dice".

Played video games(Darksiders) Ran around town trying to get an ethernet cord(a guy at k-mart sold me a phone cord, i was stupid enough to buy it)
and finished painting my Hammerhead. About to start on the pirahna.

Spend the weekend sick, got up late, played a game of curling, now going to work.

That was me last two weekend. Had a reaction to a new mental drug for my PTSD and caught the damn flu.

Lesson plans, grading assignments, and XCOM.

But not in that order.

I worked. There is never rest for the Wicked.

Woke up, washed the zombie makeup off my face and went to Burger Jones, had some decent poutine and a damned fine burger for brunch. Then laid around all day - finished season two of raising hope and season three of the league. Got about seventy percent of the way done with my re-read of Changes.
