Hi again

I have come across around 100 old white dwarf issues. ranging from issue 150 to present. Is it worth keeping any of these magazines or should I just sling them?

Personally I would keep them, if I was going to get rid of them I'd sell them rather than just sling them.

I'd keep them, the older ones were nicer...

Of course, if you're determined to get rid, I'll have to take them off your hands for "proper disposal"

Haha will keep that in mind mate. There just taking up a huge slot in the spare bedroom. Mrs keeps bugging me to get rid.

Keep them of course, but if you were considering selling some, or all of them, depending on their age, they could probably go for 2-10 pounds each. But of course, that will differ on their age, condition, and whether they are in demand.

Is there a published list anywhere of issues that are in demand or classed as rare?

You won't get much cash for them, truth be told. I've got a pile that I'm looking to get rid of (never read them, just nostalgia making me hold onto them) and I'm going to give them to a charity shop. Better than just chucking them out, and fittingly cyclical, since I bought a bunch of back issues from charity shops when I was a kid.

Bung 'em on eBay in a big lot and see what happens.

Make sure you weight them all first and calculate your shipping costs well in advance, you'll be looking at a 10kg+ package there.

You'll be looking at selling the lot for £10 + £20 postage realisitically... if that's worth the effort of packing and hauling them down to the post office for you, go for it, if not, bin 'em.

I'd put them on eBay individually if you can be bothered posting them all with a brief description of contents. People will buy them. One of my local shops gets old white dwarfs in, i pick one or two up from time to time. As someone who took something like a 14 yr break from the hobby, I just love the nostalgia. I'm sure there are many others like me.

It's hard selling old WDs on ebay. You'd have more chance selling rice to the Chinese. Hold on to them for the memories

369/370 (I think- the one with the flyers) consistently sells for $20-25 USD on eBay.

I would read them and enjoy them, anything prior to 310 (with a few odd duff patches over the years) are much better than any issue that has been released in the last 3-4 years.
