I wanted to try a reverse highlighting (light on the inside - darker on the outside) with smooth airbrush gradients and a mainly white or ghost like wraith lord. This is the result. hope you like it

Nice blending work! A really nice fade from dark to light. Did you use an airbrush or blending it by hand?

It looked a bit bland at first glance but then I scrolled down the pic and the gun and sword offset it beautifully! Excellent work! I do love the eldar models!

Really good fading effect on the red/oranges and white/blues. I would add an Eldar rune or a bit more fading on the head.

I love the blending and the 2nd Edition style colourings of the sword and gun, and the colouring of the base off sets it all perfectly.
The only nit pick is the flexi looking material stuff (like the inner elbows) on the sword hand isn't done.

I like the transition of color and the choice of color, that being said though I think you need a bit more practice and should look into masking a bit better, some of the edges are sloppy, and there is a bit of over spray. Also, be careful handling the mini after painting, I can see a nice little finger print as well

thanks guys appreciate it

@Redfingeractually i tried to do it without masking ^^ i know bit strange... but i saw how good some people were with freehand airbrushing and i really want to practice that. but yeah i definitely have to get more careful.

@Reecius yes mostly airbrushing. the 'flexi-bits', metal parts and gems are the only things not airbrushed. was pretty fast.

@GalePrime was thinking the same. i wanted something ghost like or something like the paint scheme forgeworld uses for their wraithseer. well actually i failed but i still like the outcome ^^

@Darth Bob was thinking the same but a bit afraid what to do if it doesnt look right. but i guess i should just risk it. honestly i never did decals. guess have to try them on something else first.

@ryanroberts good idea, might try that

Very nice blending, cool colour scheme.

Two things:

1. The model looks a little rough. There seem to be cuts in some places (ex. top of the tall pylon on the back in the first pic, side of his head), and bumps in others (loin cloths dont look too smooth, side of head in second pic). Are you sanding it down, or is it just the camera picking up things you cant really see due to the lighter paint colours? White is the toughest colour to work with as you cant hide mistakes, so you have to be extra careful.

2. Have you considered some thin black lines near edges (ex. on his legs above and below his knee cap armour) to add depth?

Nice model though.

I think it is exelent blending but I think the colour scheme is a bitt...I do not know. You have a cold/warm contrast going, it just seems so unbalanced. I would like to see some more red, especialy higher up on the model where more things "are happening".

Your painting is exelent however, so keep it up.

@Night Lords actually it is a bit rough. its a stripped and repainted model i got second hand. after stripping and repainting wasnt totally smooth and the one pylon was broken. but luckily on the model its barely noticeable. except with sharp eyes like yours
i fell that black edge lines on the armor plates would not go well with the gradient. but on the white parts it would be worth a try i guess.

@Niiai i think you are right but not exactly sure what to do about it. i could change the gems to a slivery red maybe. what do you guys think?
