Love the concept / background.

Rules are alright. Effective but with a sort of "for the lazy gamer" vibe. More chaosy randomness in what weapons you get would've been fun.

Don't like the models.

This. Though the fluff does lend itself to some truly amazing conversion models.

They are the swiss army knife of chaos heavy support. Since I play infantry only CSM, they fit my needs well. Most everything else can be used instead, but that all comes down to the list overall. Most lists can add oblits and not have problems.

I like the adaptability of the Oblits.

They have the right weapon for the job.

Used 2 last night in a 1k game, they accounted for a vindicator, 2 terminators 5 tac marines and a thuddcannon.

I play iron warriors so they fit perfectly and have earnt a place in every list.

I don't know anybody that actually thinks they look good, especially the Mutilators.
Terminator models + bitsbox + greenstuff = yes please; or all you need to do is glue all your leftover weapons together and it fits in quite nicely.

Awesome fluff, useful on the table, ugly as all get out. Pretty good overall.

I'm not crazy about their fluff (the idea of a Chaos techno-virus is a bit strange, to me), nor am I a fan of their models.

I do love them on the field though. Especially with the addition of Assault Cannons and Marks in this Codex.

Wow, those look really good. Too bad that's not what GW went with- they should have. If I didn't already have enough, I'd get those. Maybe I will anyways....

I like the current models. Way better then the old oblits, although they do have a certain charm about them

I'm okay with Obliterators. They've been useful when I actually decided to use them way back when. I always proxied them though because I wasn't too fond of the model or the fact it was metal (at the time). That being said I've always preferred to use vindicators and havocs simply because.
