For anyone who doesn't know, the Scharzenkommando is the Pariah grenadier unit of the Eastern Fringe setup by a minor ordo of the Inquisition. You can read about them here.

I realize that this being 40k, the most functional uniform isn't necessarily the best. My original idea was black uniforms, but it might be more awesome for them to use dirndls and refractor fields for armor. Sort of like the SoB uniforms. The color would be red, as it matches the rest of the Mechanicum stuff in the Sturmkrieg Sector.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

Since I'm from Bavaria, not sure what you mean with Dirndl. Here you go:

Afaik, he is making up words that sound like German words, because that's the theme of his army. A dirndl is exaclty what wuestenfux posted (a traditional bavarian dress), and an entire IG army dressed like that would be totally hilarious.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

He should most definitely use those then...

Go with the dresses.

Also; your wording is pretty obscure; makes it sound like your regiment is canon.

I agree, dresses are tactically advantageous.
