I hava a second monster in my sig, how do i display them side by side?

i have been playing my latest map off and on with zero crashing (yeay!) this has allowed me to finish my first wall corner section and i have a good section of wall up.

i have decided to add guardhouses with iroon doors for easy access from 3 of the sides and a large entry way complete with drawbridge and sliding glass doors.

so far i have a huge amount of resources for everything (i built on top of a giant pile of sand and lava is everywhere) except slime. my current project is a slime spawning room. i found a chunk that is supposed to spawn slimes and i have a 9x9x5 room dug out on top of bedrock. i will expand this to the entire chunk and hope slimes spawn.

I hope Notch adds NPC towns and people into the game it would be lots of fun to have people to conquer. perhaps i will have to find a mod for this and just start my seed over.

millenaire. it's buggy (though everything is these days *sigh*), but you can conquer them easily cos' it's from france

all jokes aside, I hope NPC's are added, but only as an option. don't want gakky cottages in giant castles of death and getting in the way of real people, or them ruining SSP projects, but they will make SSP a lot less boring.

Why only SSP? NPC villages in SMP would allow for regular sieges of their towns, so you can actually use your myriad castles to stage something for a change

so any suggestions on spawning slimes? i have dug out a fairly good sized room (the size of the chunk x5 high) i have a bit of water and lava in it and yet nothing.

so far a zombie some skellies and a spider that spawned on the lava.

im reaching the point of invedit. maybe put some TNT down there and blow the heck out of it?


UPDATE: slime room is working, i killed a creeper not far from my slime room and when i went back there were a bunch. i left one in the room sealed up to make more slimes.

Because the water rushes in and takes alot of the damage but still allows you to be thrown into the air

1.7.3 is out, but as it's only minor bug fixes I'll hold off on updating the server for a while in case anyone reports major problems with it. Don't want to get burned again with some new save corrupting bug. The server will continue to run 1.7.2 until further notice.

The graphics aren't that bad, hardware wise they are pretty good (i mean look at the surprisingly complicated lighting engine). The blocky and pixelated look is an aestetic choice.

Sounds really good.
However, I thought lightning could start fires, and therefore destroy wool. Might be wrong though...

Lightning only happens when it is raining and rain puts out fire instantly.

In other news, MY PC IS FIXED

is it possible to be struck by lightning? i have many thunderstorms in my desert biome and had some pretty close lightning strikes while working on my wall.
