I managed to get a razorwing on sale at my lgs, but I only play craftworld eldar so I have been in the process of converting it up to be a nightwing. the weapons came out looking pretty good, and without all of the spiky bits it looks nearly spot on, but can someone give me any advice on how to smooth out the backs of the wings, where the 3 circles are, without ruinging the whole model? Well, I'd say it entirely depends on your modelling skill level. Me, I'd take a hobby knife and even them off at a straight angle, then glue some plasticard of a slightly thinner thickness in there, cut to the shape you want. Use plastic glue for this to bond it all together. From here, let it rest for a day, then do some GS work to make it match.

Milliput would more than likely let you smooth it out.
Carve out what you don't want, fill the gap with milliput, and smooth it over / shape it.

What I would do is get some 1mm plasticard and a sharp pencil (or mechanical one) and trace the cutouts onto the card.

Cut out and glue into those places, then use putty to fill and smooth it out (and when it has firmed up a tad, cut new panel lines for the elevators/flaps into the trailing edge.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
