To be your first miniature it's very well executed. You've got colouring, colouring, shading, highliting, details, weathering, basing, etc. Keep up this good job and you'll quickly progress.

Good start
a few things to point out would be:
Muldlines, they really ruin a paintjob no mater how good it's painted.
also picking out details makes the mini "pop" and gives a nice look.
And go over the mini after you have painted it to see if you have gotten any paint where it should not be, preferably before you hit it with wash
Highligting is also a thing to look into.
The sharp yellow wire pulls the eyes from the overall mini and to the wire.
And last the base, paint the sand and dry brush it lighter.

all the nitpicking aside That is a hell of alot better than my first a tempt. a Ultramarine that looked like a lump of blue paint

I would really put a heavy wash on the yellow wire to pull it down from its brightness. It takes the attention of the actual warboss too much. For your first model, it looks awesome. Keep up the great work!

May the heretic burn.

For a first ever it's a very good start. As mentioned mouldlines will kill a good piece of of painting and as such are worth spending the time to remove. The other point would be to either drill out the gun barrels or at least use a centered black dot to simulate the bore. It's also worth painting any base materials you use, the paint will help to further adhere the material and can be painted up to further enhance the piece.
Edge highlights and painting the eye lens will give the model a final flourish but as it stands I hadn't even noticed the lens not being painted until I took a second look.

Off the bat, it looks great. I wish my first ever mini looked this good.
Though there are a few things you can improve upon. As was allready said, mouldlines are always something to look out for, they can really ruin your paintjob. I'd also want to point out that your warbosses' eyes seem unpainted, just as the lenses on is bionik implant. Painting those in a nice contrasting color will draw attention to his face and not the cable on his Power Klaw.
And perhaps you can drill out the barrel (or make a small circle with black paint).

I'm not going to add much, as most of my thoughts were echoed above. All I'd say is, when you are basing, if there is a bit much sand on the Mini's feet, you can use an old paintbrush to brush it off before the glue dries. Helps give the impression of standing on gravel, as opposed to in gravel, but its a brilliant first paint job, so get painting another!
