I did these pictures of characters. Some of them are better than others, and some of them have a maximum level of quality that was put into them; they weren't all supposed to be high quality. Either way, you can let me know how they came out.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

Here's my honest feedback: you have a fairly solid grasp on basic forms and proportions, but your shading, facial structures and line-drawing could all use some serious work. I would recommend that you invest in some quality charcoal pencils so you can achieve a smooth shading effect in your drawings. I am not sure if you got impatient with filling in large areas, but it certainly comes across that way. Also, the hair in your female characters needs to be blended in better. Right now it appears to simply be shaded, making it look like random strands appear out of nowhere. Finally, while it is far from necessary to "draw inside the lines" in this case it does not appear deliberate, but somewhat sloppy. I think if you took a little more care and invested a small amount on some better drawing pencils your efforts would be obvious.

Gotta fix your shading and line-work brah.
Some of the shapes are just, kinda unnatural. Like the eyes, and some of the sides of the faces.
As for the shading; your skin is lacking it completely, so it looks flat. Some light shading, little bit of OSL maybe, and it'll actually look 3d and more lifelike.
