As Fabulous doesn't have a mark he cant join marked units (if I'm mistaken feel free to correct me) so what are people running him with and who is getting his enhanced warriors rule?

Even if he doesn't have a mark, he'd be allowed to join marked units. Different =\= lacking.

Fabius can join any unit he wants.

The restriction is on a character with one mark joining a unit with a different mark. This is the cause of the Great Abaddon Debacle of 2012.

That's savage yeah it was the abaddon thing that was throwing me off since he couldn't join squads i assumed fabulous couldnt either, what units are you giving the enhanced warriors to?

You can only give it to one squad of Chaos Space Marines as listed on page 95.

When I run Fabius, I enhance one squad of marines and give them the mark of slaanesh. This gives me Str 5 I 5 marines which are fearless. Basically, they are a cheap possessed squad that is scoring.

its a fixed cost upgrade so the best option would be to give it to as large a squad as possible. I am thinking 20 man cheap CSM squad with pistol and ccw. Can give them a mark or whatever. Dont make them too expensive though, they need to run across the field.

only assault vehicle i would consider would be from forgeworld as they can hold 20 men

I take a 20 man CSM unit with 19 CCW's, MoK, icon of wrath and two melta guns, then probably a power sword/fist, attach kharn and fabius and then laugh my way to my opponents deployment. It's worked fabulously every time, even against a thousand sons list.

With the icon letting you re-roll charge ranges, these guys get into melee fast. I've gotten turn 1 charges.

why attach kharn AND bile, they both have fearless and are much better using their fearless on something else. Also why take the CCW, that 40 points to allow you to use your bolters. Why not just take bolt pistol and CCW and run every turn you are not in range.

Can someone point me in the right direction about Abaddon? My buddy plays him joined to a squad of Slaanesh claw termies, is that legal?

There are other threads on it.

As it is written now, it is illegal for Abaddon to join any marked unit.
I would allow it as it does not make sense. Someday the FAQ will clear it up.
