They are pretty straightforward from what I have seen. They are MAT 8 PS 12 weaponmasters with backswing giving them two attacks each with reach, spd 6 and pathfinder on top of it. You send them after things you want dead. They should be able to deal with just about anything.

I get the stats. I should have been more specific.
I meant that I am trying to figure out how to fit them into my lists. I like to run Doom Reavers, WGDS, Kayazy Eliminators and ManHunters. My casters are eVlad, pButcher. I have pSorcia but never had any luck with her.

Just mind backswing and 360 vision. If they kill their target they
have to make a second attack. And since they can see each
other while that one dude is alive, if they're in reach range they
have to attack each other if no one else is around.
Not sure what works best for them. Maybe consider them in place of Kayazy and Manhunters if you find that those models are
too squishy.
Thing is, you already have plenty of melee. They are good for
finding a 'jack/beast and killing said 'jack/beast.

They're better armored than Manhunters/Kayazy, so that would
be a reason to take them.

With eVlad, on feat turn they're speed 9 with reach and relentless charge, 16 def and 17-19 arm depending on whether they're b2b, pow 15 backswinging weaponmasters with 360deg vision. That's pretty useful, especially with transference on.
With pButcher, they're just IFed def 16arm16 backswinging weaponmasters with additional damage die given to both attacks on feat turn.
Basically, they kill lots of stuff. Casters, warjacks/beasts, colossals....

Fortunatly
Like people have said, the Bears are a fire-and-forget missile. They're not that durable, and will die to most ranged fire that comes at them, but if they get into the enemy's lines, things WILL die. Thus, they either act as a bullet-soak, taking a disproportionate amount of hits so that everything else makes it up the board safely, or they get ignored at the enemy's peril.

You can use them to open a hole in your opponents line. Take out a heavy, or seriously damage a couple. Clear out some infantry.
Anything that buffs their speed will work well with them. Aside from that they are quite self-sufficient.

It's a misprint somewhere, if I remember right, but they are supposed to be on 30mm. The models are HUGE - it's no wonder the unit is so pricey.
I got mine at 50% off online a few years ago, because I wasn't willing to pay full retail for them. When they arrived in the mail, I went "Ok, now I see why they're so damn expensive."

From the few times I've seen them across the table, it was on a side where they would either clean up a flank and roll midward or be destroyed but thus forcing alot of resources in that direction. Either way, they can be a headache when Iron Fleshed as that plus tough and steady make for great roadblocks.

Not a misprint, just a frequent mispack for awhile where they kept sticking 40mm bases in with them that caused confusion.

They are one of the best units to take out enemy heavies. Transference is excellent with them, and pButcher's feat is just disgusting with them. Just don't throw them out there. I use them for the second line strike after Doom Reavers have wrecked face, or send them to an enemy heavy or character heavy. They can go against enemy heavy infantry as well. 6 pow12 weaponmaster attacks are no joke. Just watch out for shooting, and keep them in the rear. They have the speed to get places quick with a 9 inch plus reach. There's not much that can take a charge from a Great Bear, and I've won plenty of games with a late game charge from one of them into the enemy caster. With Mat8 they can reliably hit an enemy caster with no buffs, and under pvlad with Signs and Portents or Transference with eVlad it can be quite a thing!
