Has there been a scene in a film or a bit of music that has made you think of 40k, maybe a scene that wouldn't seem out of place in the 40k universe or music that brings images of 40k
For me Id have to say the scene in revenge of the fallen, when the fallens in egypt and hes atop the pyramid with the sun killing machine and says " I claim your sun" Always seems the kind of thing I'd image a necron lord doing, looks kinda like a big necron lord anyway lol but thats just me I want to know what other things people think of. Even better if you have the clip or music from youtube.

haha yeah it is really just a scene from 40k, it was why i was alittle disappointed in the necrons re-release, I was seriously hoping for chrome terminators and HK's.

The film literally was just about a ship that has traveled through the warp and came out infested with chaos lol

The Dark Knight.

Why?

He's a guy in power armour who rides a bike with very wide wheels and a twin-linked gun on the front.

That's right - Batman is the first space marine!

Huh, I'll be damned, it can be classified as powered armor.

Not a movie, but talking to the Arishok in Dragon Age 2 sounds a lot like you're talking to a Tau in terms of the general philosophy.

Something that is less wellknown but is actually very, very good. - Seriously, it is. Is the new Starship Troopers CGI film, Starship Troopers Invasion.

It tends to fit more with the 40k-ish themes too - eg, grim-dark.

The movie priest has hive cities that very much fit with 40k; enough pollution to blot out the sun, ash everywhere and the city is run by religious leaders.

Iron Saviour remind me so much of both Warhammer Fantasy and 40k. But back to the OP
Also, has anyone seen the Pacific Miniseries? Well if you haven't GO RENT IT OUT (only if you want to )! The Pacific gets me thinking of another title:

Also, in Sucker Punch (Yes boo all you want) the main character is in World War 2 against Undead germans or something, I don't know, but anyway that reminds me as well of something like the SoB.

I havent seen judge dredd, so i can't attest to that.

Event Horizon, on the other hand, is very, very, very close to 40k, almost a prequel during the Age of Terra. The gravity drive taking the crew to another dimension, described as, "pure CHAOS...," not to mention that the ships automated systems are possessed, the crew's secrets cause them to either get killed, or claimed as a proto-Chaos cultist. What more could this movie have in common?
