So this is my Chaos Warhound Titan Sulphurius.

I travelled to Afghanistan in 09 in order to afford him. Took me about 3 months to get up the courage to paint and put together. I am not the worlds greatest modeller or painter, I used several magnets that were either too weak or too powerful and 2 of them glue opposite polarity. But in the end, I was pretty damn proud of the paint job, and during its first outing at Dreamation she was well recieved. Well tonight, my son screams from the basement and I walk in to find it crashed on the floor. I was seeing red (literally and figuratively) so I didn't take a photo, but here is what it look like on the table.

OUCH, right?!? After a quick scan, only a few parts actually broke, it came apart at the seems (or epoxy lines) so I am very lucky. The few pieces that did break, I am able to glue together and when all is said and done, it should look pretty seamless.

Here are some more pictures of what she looks like:

This was an accident probably waiting to happen, my son says he feels like $hit, but I already told him in private, but I want to say to him in public, that is was just an accident and not your fault. I am not mad at you, just upset and the situation; but like Astronaut Steve Austin, we can rebuild him, better, stronger, faster.

I am going to start by drilling bolts into his feet and fastening him to the base plate. I am going to pin each toe, there was only one not broken prior to his fall. I am going to re-attempt using magnets to hold the arms together, I have a turbo laser arm waiting in the wings. There are also a few other parts I need to finish painting, so I am going to do that before re-construction. I am also going to try to reposition him as well.

If anyone has any suggestions to what size bolts, magnets or nuts I should use, I am open to it.

.... pretty sure if I did something of this magnitude to my dads belongings he'd have disowned me and put me on a boat to some far away country. Your a very understanding father!

As for your painting/modelling skills - I'd be proud to have something of that standard in my army. Its a fantastic paint scheme and this rebuild will be impressive to watch. Are you going to repaint the entire titan? or just parts of it?

No experience with fixing something this big, but commiserations. I've had a hell of a time with my Tau tanks and their flying stands.

"How do you feel when you have killed a man?"
"Quite jolly, what about you?"
Sir Richard Burton, when asked by a disapproving doctor.

I suppose the surprise can be spoiled, but still, nobody is paying for the surprise.

Like any responsible adult I have a Five Year Plan. It culminates in me becoming Batman.

To me in doesn't embody one of the most feared Orkz of all time..it just comes across as saying " Hey!! Gimme your milk money!!"

And how does that NOT embody one of the most feared orkz of all time?

Just touch up parts. Some small details I left undone last time.

Had something very similar happen to me when I was mid way through the build of my Gorehound. A friend visited with her kid I hear a yelp and a crash from my hobby room, I run through to investigate and ended up standing on one of the heads I'd spent hours putting together. The rest of the Titan was splayed across the floor.

As you say though its not always a bad thing as it now gives you the chance to rebuild and repose to something you really want.
