Today me and a good friend of mine decided to embark upon making a Song of Ice and Fire wargame. (Game of Thrones for those who have only seen the show on hbo). but I have a problem. I am having an awful time trying to find minitures for it. Some bretonian stuff might work for it. but other than that im at a loss. So If any one knows of any can some one tell me a good website where I can get 28 mm medivial minitures for use in my game? It would be best if they were plastic but metal or resin also works.

http://www.fireforge-games.com/ and http://www.perry-miniatures.com/index.php are the first that spring to mind in terms of plastics.
The Perry's should give you a lot of metal options as well, take a look at their Crusades and War of the Roses lines.

The foot sergents work PERFECTLY. Just paint them up and slap on a direwolf here, a flayed men there, and a couple of karstark suns in ther too and BAM! I have my self a unit of northmen

I prefer the Gripping Beast plastics. They just look more interesting than the Perrys'.

http://www.conquest-games.co.uk are also worth a mention for their range of Plastic Normans. Their miniatures are more Dark Ages than Medieval but they may well provide a good option for some of the less well off kingdoms.

I second the fire forge models. And in addition they do look rather grand

Tre Manor is going to have a bunch of dire wolves, some english looking men at arms and a fenris model coming out in plastic/resin/trollcast in a few weeks as a result of his kickstarter. http://red-box-games.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=21&zenid=108d506a7605cb1b868940bf6fe4089b and for the stuff coming out in plastic you'll have to look at his kickstarter page, he hasn't updated his store yet: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1103158358/red-box-games-helsvakt-horde (scroll down / check the updates to see the plastics)

Wargaming the SoIaF is a well trod path.

Depending on how much you favor the TV show vs. the books, and how big of a battle you want to have, you can either go with the Perry plastic figures (very cheap, and easy to convert), or more of a mix and match situation. Either way, look for "War of the Roses", since comparatively that is the real world time frame that George was going for.

Personally, I would go with a skirmish sort of situation, using Perry plastics, as I mentioned in my [ur=http://lasgunpacker.blogspot.com/2012/04/game-of-thrones.htmll]blog post [/url]earlier in the year. (there are also some useful links in there for insperation) I figure that I could get over 100 figures for £77, which seems like plenty for a skirmish game. With a classic Stark/Lannister core to the figures, and a few "allies" like Boltons and Iron Men, there would be plenty of gaming options. However, like many projects, this one remained on paper, and I never started . on it. Hope you fare better.

Fenrisian wolves as dire wolves can also work, although they'd be a more adult version. I find the official dire wolves of the Dark Sword line too dog-y.
