So the year is coming to an end. I've been a member here almost all year, and there has been some great threads.

The Chapterhouse vs Games Workshop-thread has raged on throughout 2012 as well, there's been the Three Stages Studio-thread, the Deny the Switch-thread and a wide selection of GW hate threads.

Which would you say is/was the best Dakka thread of 2012?

I'm calling this a little early. There's still nearly 3 weeks to go in 2012, and anything can happen.

The football thread has been a lot of fun.

I've been following Jihandin's Dakka Chaos Warband thread pretty closely.

The Forge World tournament thread had lots of very good arguments from both sides of the issue. It got flamey at times, but kept on topic fairly well.

Shameless self plug, and plug for the Ork community.
This thread exploded a week before 6th dropped, and as far as I know is the biggest, most active 6th Ed. Tactics thread on the board.

The Three Stage Studios thread is a sentimental favorite of mine, but I think the thread that takes the award for most righteous indignation ever is the Maelstrom Games thread.

I have a lot of time for Ifalna's Commission thread. Talented painter and takes the time to discuss her work. I always have a read if I spot it in P&M blogs.

Good calls on Deny the Switch and the thread about getting banned from GW.

I think a special mention goes to 'Players blaming the unit' from 40k Tactics.

I know, that was kind of suggested in the OP. But I think it's had enough significance during 2012 to qualify as a 2012 thread.

I knew I forgot to mention one. Absolutely, the Maelstrom thread was amazing. As was the Blue Painting Table Kickstarter-thread. Some very good discussion there.

I don't think we need to drag up threads that are oft best left forgotten or were ended for a reason.
