Hi guys so I'm slowly working my way through my imperial fists army at the minute iv got tow tactical squads five scouts and the aobr dreadnaught and I know I'm getting another tactical squad and a box of assault marines for Christmas which is great but it sort of turns into a sea of bananas after a while so I was wondering if you guys could think of a different colour I could paint my terminators to set them apart a little and show their elite class ? I'm also unsure weather to paint my librarian yellow or match him with the terminators maybe ?

Well the librarian at least should be blue

With the terminators, to be honest you could paint them any colour with a yellow shoulder pad or something to tie them back to the Fists. Just say that they have performed some awesome action somewhere that allows them to paint their armour fuscia with orange polka dots (for example).

I'd definitely paint the Librarian with blue armor and yellow Imperial Fist accents.

For the terminators, it can be as simple as white helmets or add in some large black areas to break up the yellow on the terminator armor.

If you wanted to make your terminators stand apart. You could paint their armor black, and their right shoulder bearing the IF symbol should be yellow. As for the helmets I would also paint those yellow, or maybe even white. But too much yellow on black will make them look like bees. Just an idea.

Thanks for the advice guys ill go for blue with the librarian and I think I like the awesome action idea for my terminators I might paint them red and say they made a heroic last stand against unbeatable amounts of orcs and the blood spilled stained their armour or green for tyranid ichor or something
