I'm currently looking for a Bunny Rabbit model to do a 28mm Monty-Python-esque base. The closest I've found is a 1:12 Scale bunny here
So the question is: Does anyone know of a mini company that produces 28mm scale bunny (roughly 5-6mm high), or if someone can sculpt one for a reasonable price. OR, should I just go with the 1/12 scale (that's roughly half the size of a 'mreen)

For something that small, I would sculpt my own - if the rabbit is fluffy enough, there isn't much definition to the body and it should be relatively easy. I would use Milliput over Greenstuff because I find it easier to mix and sticks better to other things. I would do the ears first - roll two sausages, curl them longitudinally over the back of a knife blade to get the curved surface, then let them dry. Then do two more sausages for front legs, and shape pointed paws on them. You would not be able to discern individual toes at that scale. Once these sausages are dry, do two balls, one bigger than the other, press the legs into the front of the "body" ball and stick the head on top, press the ears into the head, use something like a very small tube (preferably smaller than the plastic tubes that cotton wool buds are made of) to press into the side of the head to leave eye-shaped depressions, sculpt a hole for the mouth, then leave it to harden. If you want to smoothen the joints, fill them in with a small amount of putty once the last lot has hardened, to avoid squashing it out of shape.

Mega Miniatures
$1.50
http://freeboardgamesnow.com/rabbit.aspx The paintjob doesnt' do the model any favors, but if it's anything like the dogs I got from them recently, it will be a nicely done model. Note that it will likely be in true 28mm scale, so it should be just the size you're looking for to go on a base.

Try looking on eBay under "o scale animals."
Anything made for trains in o scale tends to work well in 28mm.
You will end up getting the rabbit as part of a set.
The Reaper one looks good, but the postage is £37 O_O
Impossible? Order 35 quid worth of stuff and you get free postage from Reaper itself, AFAIK?
Yeah, I know - but for £3.89's worth of stuff, £37 postage for UPS Tracked (the default option). Untracked is £10.03, and UPS Saver is £154.02.
I'm assuming somethings gone wrong with the system.... sent them an email about it.
The O Gauge stuff seems to be the right scale (if pricey) and I've been suggested Playmobil rabbits (which don't look that bad actually), so I'll be checking that out in town tomorrow.
Yeah, whenever the question is 'where can I find [obscure miniature]?' the answer is usually Reaper. Or sometimes Megaminis. Reaper has really made it their mission to be our number one source for everything from circus strongmen to Southern sheriffs to cute little animals to weresharks. The diversity of their lines is just staggering.

I got the middle link because I wanted the pug to be the Khador Butcher's wardog. It was a very nice looking rabbit too.

If you have it spare and wouldn't mind making a deal, maybe we can figure something out?
How about a Sodapop? A bit expensive just for the Mr Tomm the Bunny, but I guess Princess Maya could go on Ebay.....
A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............

There are a couple of stores in Europe who stock Reaper that you might be able to get them from with a lower shipping cost (don't recall the names off the top of my head - but you should be able to find something on the Reaper site).
On the railroad rabbits...you might also take a look at the OO items as well. Quite often, small things like those are oversized for the scale...so an OO gauge rabbit might be the right size for what you are looking for (and considerably cheaper).

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.”

It wanted to be a 'realistic' bunny. Same as the Python bunny:
Thanks for all the suggestions - would have loved the Reaper one, but cost.... BUT, I've ordered these from ebay atm: Which should be the right scale... I'll post pics once it's made
