OK Folks. Here are some of the bugs i just finished. I have not based most of them and have yet to finish the claws. I am also looking for a highlight color for the turquoise. in the past i have just used a drybrush of white, but these are going to be showcase... kinda(at least better than my other armies) so any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

When I did my nids I went by the official GW tutorial. They said to highlight the turquoise with ice blue(don't know what it is now, then do a light mix of ice blue and white. The came out really nice. There pics in my gallery if you'd like to look to get an idea of what it can look like.

I think its the blue everyone uses on their plasma. might work.. what about going darker on the edges, like an anti-highlight. that might look wierd though. :/

Looks like a good start. Make sure that you add some depth to the red skin with washes and highlights. The red is just too flat as is.

It's half and half. as they arent completely done yet I will be putting a gloss coat on the red to make it look shiny and the turquoise is going to get a flat coat. I think the shell would be duller than the skin. but i might try a gloss on a gaunt or two to see what it looks like and decide from there. the tervigon already has a full matte coat on it.
