I started out painting Warhammer 40k in highschool. After getting married and moving several times I stopped, until the same person that got me into it started showing me all his new stuff. Now that I have started you again, I need to go back and repaint all my old miniatures, so any help on how to remove the paint would be great. I live in Colorado, and have pretty much all my life, I do some airbrushing on the side, and sell motorcycles as a profession. Hope you like my models, and any advice is always welcome.

Hi there, in the States, Simple Green should remove paint very well from both plastic and metal models.

I look foward to seeing your models (a bike army would be fun if you sell motorbikes as your job ).

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Hey Graybeard, welcome back! Long time gamer / rider here. Checked out your work and you have some truly excellent stuff! Really like the Wolf Guard w/ Wolf Claws.

Drop me a line or check out my Terrain thread if you care to. Either way, glad to see an old Vet return to the hobby and hope to hear back from you if you get the chance.

Welcome and welcome back. Soaking minis in Super Clean for a few days and scrubbing them with a stiff bristle tooth brush is the stripping method I've used and so far it's worked well with the exception of Army Painter spray color...that stuff is stubborn. Just make sure to wear gloves, those chemicals can be hell on your hands!
