Hi all,

first of all, hope this is in the right forum for this question.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that makes some good 28mm 'dead' historical/medieval or fantasy models. But not just splayed out, wounded... I'm looking for eviscerated, chunked, sliced, diced, disemboweled, beheaded dudes. I just got a bunch of minotaurs and such and I'd like to model some with dead guys on their bases, or even perhaps a half of a body hanging from one of their grips. Just brutal stuff. Y'know, evil chaos minotaurs just chompin' down on some poor hapless soldier.

I've got Mantic's dead Dwarf and Elf, but they're kind of the "sleepy" normal dead. I'm hoping there's a source for a dead guy cut in half. As far as I can tell, my only option are converting some zombies (esp Mantic ones).

Thanks!

Yeah, I think your best bet is converting Mantic zombies. It's plastic so it's very easy to convert and remove heads. Just cover everything in blood.

Have you bought a Mantic zombies kit? It comes with... guts and spine. You can put it on legs and the zombie will be a guy cut in half. The heads also have appropriate faces if you put them on pikes.

Maybe look for odd lots of used GW plastics you can chop up. Greenstuff goes a long way.

Hi all,
I do have some Mantic zombies already and they're what got me thinking. I was hoping someone knew of a company that made particular sliced and diced models, like a 'squashed hero' or a 'gored elf' or something.

I looked into reaper a bit too. They have an impaled knight, a gutted triceratops, and a few other dead minis. A few more too if you don't mind skeletal.
