I've been looking into 3rd party miniatures for some INQ28 / necromunda stuff I've been working on, and I quite like the look of Hasslefree's stuff, my question is, are they as "hassle-free" as the name suggests? I'm wary of buying from a company I don't know much about, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience (positive or negative) with buying from them?

But also, how well do they measure up to GW's sculpts, in terms of both size and detail? I've heard they can look a bit vertically-challenged compared to GW stuff.

Thanks

Hasslefree is one of the nicest companies I have done business with. Plus, you usually get free candy.

In terms of size - they aren't nearly as chibi as GW figures. Detail...excellent, though keep in mind that they lack all the extra crap which is tossed on GW figures just to have something there. You have a distinct lack of skulls, gem stones and other bits.

Thanks for the reassurance there Sean, Hmm... free candy, that could be a game-changer

They seem pretty reasonably-priced,, so I think I'll take a chance and buy something, unless anyone has a horror story by tomorrow evening

They are a great company. I have a ton of their modernish figures and some of their monsters. Fantastic sculpting (in my opinion) and the customer service is fantastic.

The figures WILL be smaller than your GW stuff though... And probably will also suffer from a lack of skulz..

I've bought from Hasslefree and they're awesome.

Good delivery times, great customer service and free sweets to boot. I even got a badge. Can't recommend them enough.

Yep, nothing but great stories from my interactions with them. They are a man and wife team (with a number of independent sculptors that work for them) and they are just great, in both quality and service.

Well, with customer satisfaction like that, I'd be mad not to invest! Thanks a lot for the help

Models look great! I think it depends on what line you buy on how chibi they look (from the pictures on their site it appears that way)

The candy was awesome. Also they ship QUICK!
