Subject: Few more questions regarding the rules

Hey guys, I have two questions:
1) What's the rules on Fallback? If I lose combat and and fail my leadership test (and run), is there an initiative check afterwards? The way I was thought is that after I run, both players make a roll and add their initiative, and if the combat winner wins the ROLL, he kills my whole unit. Is that right?
2) How many Lone Wolves can a Single Space Wolves player field?

Shouldn't you purchase:
1) Rulebook.
2) Codex.

Nope. Not quite.
2) How many Lone Wolves can a Single Space Wolves player field?
Depends on what else you take.

Depends on what else you take.
Also, how many pts your're playing.
Is it a prim or allied detachment, etc.

1) If you lose the combat you take a leadership test. If you fail that test (your ld - the number of wounds you lost buy) then you and your opponent each roll a D6 and add your initiative values. If the winner of the combat ties or beats the loser's roll, the losing unit is completely destroyed.
It is entirely possible for a blob of 30 guardsmen to charge an IC, lose the combat by one wound, and be wiped out by a single enemy model.
2) Buy your damn Codex.

1) No need for blatant hostility. I've purchased both, and so has my friend. 40K rules aren't the clearest to understand to new players. That's the point of the forums - to clarify and help one another understand.
To the others, thank you for the clarification. Automatically Appended Next Post: Cheesedoodler wrote: Reignir wrote:Hey guys, I have two questions:

My damn codex isn't the clearest thing in the world, but thanks for the input.

1) Not necessarily Terminators can't preform a Sweeping Advanced.

How is it not? It tells you very clearly how many models are in the unit and which FOC slot they take up, and the core rulebook tells you how many of that FOC slot you have available. I really don't see how it could possibly be any clearer.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |
