Hi guys,
Still a noob so hopefully this is the right place to ask this. I recently bought some lizardmen models from Games Workshop - Slaan Mage Priest, Chameleons and Kroxigors. It looks like these models are not plastic? What are they made from? And what is the best glue for them since plastic cement doesn't work... just plain super glue?

For reference I bought them for a D&D game I haven't played Warhammer Fantasy or 40k since 2009 so this model type is new to me.

Thanks in advance.

somewhere in the northern side of the beachball

They are finecast which is basically resin although softer.

Super glue is the best choice. You also want to check the models for bubbles and miscasts.

If you get a faulty model just ask gw a new one (or the store you bought it from).

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

im not sure how metal models are new to you since a lot of gw miniatures were metal.

they started to change that and a lot of metal models are now finecast.

if you purchased finecast miniatures and are talking about those: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?aId=16600008a

some people like it,others hate it because of quality issues

superglue works fine for metal and finecast miniatures.

you can go here: http://www.games-workshop.com and look at each miniature and what its made of

Excellent, thanks to both of you. So its resin like. So finecast has replaced many/most metal minis for GW?

GW's plan is that eventually all metal model that they produce will be recast in Finecast, but they are working through the backlog slowly at the moment.

90% of the Lizardmen lineup is Finecast now.

I am currently taking commissions.
