Ok, so a few months ago I tried my hand at sculpting a big gribbly deamon, the results are probably still floating around dakka somewhere i got as far as a largeish skeleton covered in greenstuff cables with a screaming imperial guardsmen strapped into the middle. To this day for the life of me I have no idea why I did that. Recently I actually started a chaos deamon army and... after balking at the prices of those delicious monstrous creatures thought I would make one of my own... with hookers.... and blackjack. After a misfired start to make a bloodthirster, I came across my old gribbly project. Our great lord nurgle took over my hands and milliput supply and created a hideous beast of stitched together flesh, torn in several places to reveal the guts and goop beneath. At this point he is going to be a Flying Nurgle Prince which brings me to my issue.

How do i make him fly?

Now I ordered some fell beast wings off ebay but they wont be here for a week or two, I CURRENTLY have a single metal wing from Warmachines Lich Lord Terminus or I COULD sculpt him a deamonic jetpack, im not sure which is the best course of action to go with and would appreciate some input.

Thought a Picture might be helpful

He is far from finished.

I can make an extra copy of my jetpack, or something similar to it, if you'd like!

Tempting and thanks for the offer but Im still not sure on the Deamonic Jump pack, if it helps im giving him a massive staff (The scythe got retconned) and a ball of chemical coloured oozy flame in his other hand.

Gameplay wise, Wings, MoN, Boon of Mutation/Gift of chaos (Cant decide atm) and noxious touch.

I like the idea of a jet pack. if the idea of the Daemon Prince is that it was a servant of Nurgle that pleased Papa Nurgle so much that he mutated the servant into a Daemon, I don't think sprouting wings makes sense for big Nurgley things. If you're set on wings I'd either go mechanical or big insect wings like the new Blight Drone models

Completely off the top of my head as I'm typing this: what if the daemon prince was so bloated up with corpse-gas that he floated? Big ol' balloon of nastiness?

The Fly is a token creature of Nurgle, so why not attempt sculpting some monstrous fly/insect wings?

You could add some rotors like the ones on the blight drone form forgeworld. And it should probably not that hard to do. Cut some rotorblades out of plasticard and cut the round outer side off of two bases of preferred size. Glue the rotorblades onto the ring and glue the other base-ring under it .

Just a small example. (not mine)
