This is a diorama utilizing Rackham miniatures from the Griffon line. The diorama depicts Shanys L'Ombre, Griffon Assassin, dispatching a traitor Griffon Magistrate who has just secreted Griffon war plans in some ruins marked as a drop site (note the chalk on the bricks to the right of the door). It proves to be the magistrate's last traitorous act. Hope you enjoy.

I was practicing with mirrored blades for the hell of it, so if you're wondering what's up with the Magistrate's blade here is a pick of his back before he was mounted to the diorama.

Looks great! Love the scenery and the complete piece, however i think it would look better with a darker background, just to get a sense of stalkers in the night

Overall awesome job!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

That's a lot of background for a piece I would have called "Purple guy gonna stab the red guy" Great work!

I thought this was going to be about a french guy wearing a blue suit being killed. But this is great too. Superb work!

What a fun piece. I like that you have stuck with the Magistrate's original color scheme and how the purple tones on the assassin deeply contrast. The terrain piece is nice, although maybe on the larger size for just two minis. I do like the story it tells, though. It's painted quite well and looks like it was fun to put together. I agree with using a black or dark backdrop, but more for the color adjustment than for the atmosphere.

I thought it was going to be about SMERSH, the old Soviet era WWII espionage/counter-espionage organization, mentioned in some of th early James Bond novels.

Good work though. I think it would be more interesting with a dark night sky background, just sayin'.

Great to see some classic mini I really like the assassin, but feel the guard in his red coat with cream trim gets lost against the cream wall with red trim. A little more contrast would help separate the guard from the backdrop.
