Rip off or not. Love the execution of the model. Very well done sir. Jack Kirby and Stan Lee would be proud.

It is probably this stuff (http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/clump-foliage) glued on a paperclip or something( that is what I use for smoke anyways).

You should be able to buy this model at McDonald's, because I'm lovin' it. This is everything an homage should be without falling victim to any of the traps of fandom. The smoke is amazing, the model is dynamically posed, and all in all it's great. You didn't shoehorn in any parts of the reference source that weren't necessary, and you made it seem like a natural part of the 40k milieu. Awesome stuff. My one and only suggestion would be to maybe retool the faces on the pumpkin bombs to make them a touch less halloween-y and a little more orky. But you've done a top notch, grade-A job already!

Thank all for the complements.

The smoke was done with some clump foliage, super and Elmer's glue and a metal rod. Tutorial in Painting and Modeling Tutorials.

@Jimsolo No way I would sell this at Mc D's. Thier toys suck.

No plans on any other characters to copy as of yet. I use this as a Deffkopta. I did this one back before GW came out with Deffkopta models.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone.

Could totally make Dok O(r)k stand in for a Deffdread, make him use two of his mechano limbs to walk on/elevate him to the right height, the other two as DCCW, and his arms holding whatever weapons you wanted

EDIT: Just give him Pklaws or something if you like extra DCCWs
