Forge World came out with a new range of Heavy Weapons for Devastators. For those that haven't seen them:

Basically what I'm asking is does anyone know how well these would fit on a regular Space Marine? More specifically a Space Wolf? I need some heavy weapons and don't have the money to buy a bunch of Devastator boxes to get enough ML. But I'm wondering if these are specifically made to go on their range of new Space Marine Legion armour? If someone could let me know whether these would work or not I'd really appreciate it.

They should work just fine.

you xdon't need Devastator boxes to get missile launchers. One comes in every tactical squad box, they are pretty common.

Common for Space Marines, not Space Wolves. I'd still be stuck buying a bunch of Tac squad boxes just to get a couple ML.

I thought wolves just bought normal tac sprues and glued on their own heads and some of those details they get such ridiculous amounts of in some packs.

No we have proper troop packs like everyone else. We just don't get heavy weapons or flamers or meltas with ours which is really annoying. It's because we have a lot of other stuff that comes on the sprues and we get the option of turning them into troops, elites and hq choices.

The weapons will fit. If you look at the example models you'll see that some of them have standart space marine shoulder guards. What will be a problem though is getting arms to hold the weapons as those packs doesn't seem to come with them.

note: I got some autocannons for my post-heresy death guard (using the FW conversion kit) and I had to modify the chaos back packs to make the ammo feed fit.
Also choice of arms is very important as the cannons only really fit one way - horizontal.

If you can afford one of the Legion Heavy Weapons Squads you get 5 guys who can equip a Missile Launcher. Couple with the Missile Launcher pack and just add someone to act as a Pack Leader and you have a full 6 man with 5 ML.

That's what I did for my Long Fangs. Bought a couple of FW sprues were you got 2 flamers, 2 meltas and 2 missile launchers for the price of 1 regular missile launcher ina bitz store.
