Anyone know anything about the background of gork and mork? I want to incorporate them into the theme of my ork army, but I need to know a bit more about them. Are there any discerning characteristics that differentiate one from the other? Do they have a color that either of their followers prefer? Any kinds of symbols?

All orks (or at least almost all...to allow for atheists ) worship the tow ork gods, so any symbols used by orks and the clan colours are equally pleasing to the orky godz.

Favourite colour for both would be green.

I think the old Gargants had an option for Gork head or Mork head, with different effects.

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

I suggest looking up pictures of the old Gargants. Maybe it will help with the symbology as far as anything important...

They are pretty much interchangeable.

They're the most powerful of all the entities known to exist in the Warp. One is the god of Cunning Brutality, the other is the god of Brutal Cunning. Which is which has spawned countless fights amongst the Orks.

In old WHFB (it may still exist) there was a spell that Ork shamans could get, the Foot of Mork (or maybe Gork), which included a foot-print-like blast template. Cast it, place the template, crush any model under the template.

They have that power in DoW2, don't know if it's the same name though.

After all these years of searching for Marbo...he found me. Heretics beware! He's back!

I've used Guardsman Bob's avatar as "the new face of horror" to terrify locals in these parts for months. It's surprisingly effective, even against grown men.

only two thing ya need to know

Gork is brutal but kunnin', and mork is kunnin' but brutal.

Gork justs laughs and smashes stuff at the same time, while mork waits until his ememy isn,t looking before clobbering him.
