Have this in the blog I'm running - but thought I'd share as I'd like further opinion.

Yep - using for my Ogres. Would be easy to replicate for circulars.

So do you plan on having them stand on the water or are you going to glue them to the base and then pour the water effects around their feet?

Base looks pretty cool though.

I'll be painting the models. Gluing, then pouring the resin. This was jusy my 2nd test to work out the best technique

Looks very cool.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Nice water effect, one question, when the models stand in the water shouldn't their feet be a bit down in the water? I dont know if it's possible to do that but it would look really cool if one foot was slightly sunken down in the swamp and the other on solid ground.

Looks good. What brand resin are you using?

If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!

Looking good. I'd be interested to see a tutorial/step by step process for this when you base your minis.

That's going to be done - this was just a test base to see if I could get it to work.

Envirotex Lite - not cheap in the UK. Which is why I'm finding painting my ogres so frustrating as I want to get it done and I criticise my own work far too much

I'll be doing a movement tray and a unit of 8 just as soon as I'm happy with a skin tone for my Ogres. I'll post it then ;-)

Here's my latest skin tone....

Still not 100% with it.

Thoughts? Is this good enough? I'm not a great painter by any means. But I feel it should be better?
Ratskin Flesh, Ogryn Wash, Elf Flesh, Cadian Fleshstone are paints used.

(Face, Beard, Gut etc not finished btw)

Can't wait to see a few of them with ogres on them ranked up.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

If it's any help - I've booked the last two days of the month off work to at least get my first unit done ;-)
