Nice! My only criticism is his right arm seems a little low...

well it should look like he was in mid slash...next would be the uppercut with the left hand...

not the pose, the arm seems to be glued a little low...not much, just a bit...

will have to look that up in the flesh i guess...

Deadpool looks a bit scary , like an evil scarecrow , bankrobber! are you sure he is not a renagade ;-) congrats on the pose as well , its pretty tough to capture movement with the catachans , good worrk matey. are you gonna do a red and black paintjob as well?

paintjob should match the black and red deadpool so yeah... and it would even fitt my army scheme^^

i think your right the head looks like scarecrow more than deadpool...seems i have to do some research for him again^^

as for poses with catachans...

i give you an early look at a request from you and Logan...;

i suggest a dog handler , Logan suggests a animal tamer...

i give you Fetch, the, well you decide...,either the tamer or the dog handler...it´s for now a rather context related mini...






and for some reason i cant really fathom i am quite attached to the catachans...somehow they ring a bell in me... quite more than the current cadians...the cadians lack in my opinion a bit of charcter... the catachans while bulky and unrealisticly musclepacked have at least that stallone and arnie feel about them...well there are some heads in the options for cadians that also give a bit of flair to them but you have to hunt like hell for them....


by the way, i used an old spacewolf head here ... expect to see soon some GS work on this harh hairdo of him^^ something wolvie like i guess....

Hey the new dog handler guy looks perfect also , like the dog has just ran off the edge of the screen. Brilliant head choice too. i am envious of that cool looking head. i agree that the catachans have more expressive heads than the dour cadians.

in the nearer future i have to seatch for cheap bases as i lack a lot in this department...also i grew very hesitant now to use my GS as it is lessen in rapid movements^^

well i have a creed already but i planned on doing a mini just like that as a sort of wyat earp mini^^

Creed looks brutal while some poshness exists. I think I know the more "refined" officer that Vik is thinking of using.

so now i´ve had a bit of work done to get back to the true spirit of steam punk...the story behind is...:

my youngest son came to me and asked me to build a mini soldier for him... how could i refuse that demand?^^ no way^^
so he sat on my lap and we both looked at my fingers while i scratched away the mold lines and glued the first of the three now finished true steampunkish guardsmen...

they were so much fun to be made that this will be definatly not the last batch to be made in that fashion...

we've got a flintlock, a gatling gun, and some type of steampunky grenade launcher/missile launcher/mortar?

If I am not mistaken that is indeed the MkIII Grendel and Flaxnasal patented Handheld Grenade Pistol.

yep faer to my sind this rather ridiculous weapon is a mortar of the pistoliers set... my son saw that and he is a true man... always go for the biggest gun first^^

i still got some of these gatling ones but i fear that this is the last mortar one...

I tend to build the sarge first, then the big gunner, then the special gunner, then the normal guys.

they are the best steampunk ig men i have ever seen , ..plese please cotinue with these beauties vik , we demand brass and airships , for the queen . we want more we want more we want more.! if you you do i will post that thing i was talking about ;-)

If you want Steampunk the Dreadknight could go pretty good for that.

That was the first thing I thought when I looked at it.
