Two WIP steps of Aïcha the Janissar, the leader of the two fighters above.

Nice work on the defender, Minus! I love the mutated arm on him it reminds me of Wikus' arm mutating in District 9. The leader is coming on really nicely too!

Oh and I received the two copies of Candice btw. The detail and quality is incredible and Steve is a really nice guy too. Thanks for the heads up!

I didn't have District 9 in mind when I painted the arm. But it's true that the main character had this kind of mutation too. I need to see that movie again.

The set looks great together!

They are looking really nice Minus I really like how you did the skin tone on the big claw guy and the armour effects look really nice and worn on all three.

I didn't realise how big the bodyguards were until you posted the pic with Aïcha in the middle.

Excellent, I'm really impressed with your skin work, all that subtle blending and realistic colour change. The red, inflamed areas actually look sore!

Beautiful skin tones, and love the subtle source lighting. Wasn't too convinced on the colour scheme at first, but they look stunning together, so consider me converted. Wonderful stuff!

The guy on the left is probably my favourite - looks like he could have been a forest ranger in another era Shoulderpad looks ace - really looks like stamped metal!

I'm not convinced by the green respirator and tubes on the last model tough.
Metal would look better IMHO.

Yes, they are pretty big.

The two points I wanted to improve on these models were the skin since I don't have such large surfaces to paint really often, and the metallics. I'm happy if I succeeded.

It's my favorite too among the three that I posted above. The fourth model that I haven't painted yet is really great too.

It looks better IRL, to be honest. I first painted it as normal metal, bu I added this "glowing" effect in the end because the model has to pop between the others. Aïcha is the leader, but her bodyguards are huge compared to her. With this fluo green, she catches the eye more.

I have one more model, but he has no rules. He is an objective marker for a special mission. I'll paint him soon.
For my faction, there are for the moment only 2 more models. I'll buy them the next time I'll go to the shop.


I had my first games this afternoon with my buddy. We had a great time and are convinced by the ruleset. We probably made lots of mistakes, but both games were really fun.


And to conclude, we bashed zombies on a Zombicide game.

I started to paint the fourth model yesterday. But I also made something else.

Eden is a game that involves cards, one per model, wich presents all of its rules and is used to locate the wounds. The cards look good, but well... that's not MY models on them. So I replaced the original images with my own :

Aww that's really cool man, I'm hoping to do something similar when I get my Infinity miniatures done. It looks brilliant!

I thought that these implants should have caused damages to the bodies. I wanted them to look painful.
