I had an idea of converting a CSM Land Raider for apocalypses with 2 bale flamers and a twin-linked Hades Autocannon along with some modified rules for daemon possession, haven't sorted that out just yet, but back to my question i was just going to get some feedback on how much a variant like this would cost points wise.

Let's see...two AP3 torrent weapons and an S8 pinning weapon that is twinlinked....on an AV14 tank with big assault transport capacity.

I dont think a land raider could hold all that weaponry

Maybe a modified Spartan Assault tank?

Not that much more firepower then a Redeemer. Daemonic Possession makes it BS 3 IIRC and a hazard to yoru own guys. 260ish I'd say.

I do think they need more Chaos specific Land Raiders to counter the Redeemer and Crusader.

I like it, I for one wish raiders got "it will not die" and 3 hp, but thats me

You take a redeemer and make its side guns become torrent (I know no tank or vehicle that comes with 2 torrent weapons)

Thats quite a significant upgrade in payload

Bet dimes to dollars the next Space Marine dex, makes it so.

But you can't base balance of proposed rules off something you think could happen in a future codex. Especially when it hasn't happened before (2 torrent weapons on a vehicle)

-A Chaos Land raider can exchange his twin Heavy Bolters, for 2 reaper Autocanons for +15pts, or for One Twin linked Baleflamer for +20pts

-A Chaos land raider can exchange its Sponsons Twin Lascans for Twin Hades Autocanon for +10pts, or for Ectoplasma cannons for +30pts.

-A Chaos Land Raider can be Possesed by a Greater Deamon for +30pts, it count as having the Deamonic Possession upgrade, it also gain the Deamon USR.
