Thinking of Joining a Davinite Loge
|
Hello,
I took it upon myself to empty out my thread subscription list this afternoon when, much to my horror, I found that I had subscribed to every thread I've ever replied to. Unfortunately, I've only just become aware of the ability to turn off this function in the options panel. Unsubscribing from the hundreds of threads is a royal pain as the it is impossible to filter and sort the threads. Currently, all 'kept' threads are stored at the top of the page. This makes it rather difficult to 'unsubscribe' from every other thread beneath these kept ones as the page refreshes and resets itself to the top of the damnable page with every unsubscription.
It would be handier if one could organise the list, or if one could flip the listings so that all of my preferred threads are stored at the bottom. I could then quickly unsubscribe from every other thread without the need of trawling through the list every time.
Cheers!

Hahah. I did something exactly like that once, as well, on these very fora, and posted a thread nigh-identical to yours.
The advice then, as I am sure it will be now, was "get clicking".

Oh, I found it!
Still perhaps Lego will post a better answer. I feel your pain.

Yeah it is on the to-do list for some time in the far future, but is not in the near term pipeline.

The biggest thing the Subscribed threads page need is either...
A- multiple tick boxes that allow you to delete many threads at a time as opposed to just one at a time.
B- something that stops you going back to the first page every time you remove a thread that isn't on the 1st page. Having to keep clicking next page just so you can continue deleting threads is annoying as all get out.
