I have a 45 minute bus ride to work each day and I often pass the time by reading. I'm looking for some 40k reading suggestions, as I enjoy the fluff (yes, I have low standards :p). I've already read through the following collections:
gaunt's ghosts
salamanders (tome of fire, etc.)
blood angels
soul drinkers
eisenhorn
ravenor (though I think I may have missed a recent one)
horus heresy (most of them, and those I haven't already read didn't strike me as interesting)
any suggestions for where to go next?

Anything by Aaron Dembski-Bowden. Helsreach. It's a Space Marine Battles book. Chronicles the Black Templars, led by Chaplain Grimaldus, during the Third War for Armageddon. The Night Lords Trilogy: Soul Hunter, Blood Reaver, Void Stalker. Three book series about the Night Lords told from their point of view. Fascinating story, really.

woops, I left out the night lords books from my list. I knew I was forgetting something and I've even read them twice! :p those books inspired the night lords CSM army I'm now building.

I really enjoyed fear the alien, short stories about xenos.
I haven't finished the 2nd ultramarines omnibus yet but the first one was good.

Helsreach is one of the best SM books out there. Even from non-BT fans, its got great reviews.
Iron Warriors Omnibus: AWESOME. I dont like UMs but Ive considered their omnibus since I think it ties in with the IW books.
Ciaphas Cain series: I had a great time reading a few books into the first omnibus, but it got repetetive. Its worth a buy and read but I cant say about further books.
Priests of Mars is honestly one of the best BL books Ive read. It doesnt feel like bolter porn; more of an adventure/exploration book. Well written, great characters.

Ultramarine Master with Gauntlets of Macragge

The Ultramarines books were perfect for reading on a plane, and I'd probably leave it at that. I enjoyed them enough while on said plane.
If you can track it down, find Cadian Blood. It's the first Aaron Dembski-Bowden-authored novel for BL, and my first time reading him. It's excellent, even if it doesn't quite hold up to the Night Lords trilogy.
I like the Ciaphas Cain books, but I've accidentally reread entire books without remembering I'd read them before. Pick up the omnibus though - three books with a few short stories is a very good amount of the character, and you'll have a good time with them.

The Ciaphas Cain books are stellar.
They are characterful, interesting, immersive, and at times even humorous.
I hugely recommend them.

I also throw my vote behind Ciaphas Cain. Also Gaunt's Ghosts.
