A size 2. It comes to a fine enough point for detail work and is big enough to paint flat sections of most minis quickly.

I second this statement.

A 1, or 0. I tend to use larger cheaper brushes for big areas. S7's get saved for special jobs.

I use my size 1 almost exclusively. Then again, I am a crap painter so YMMV....

Size 1. It's big enough to cover large areas relatively quickly, but holds a fine enough point to do stuff like eyes.

Size one and size zero. That's the ones I use.

Two, maybe a three. You're not really losing the point, and it doesn't begin to get ungainly until a fairly large size.

If you can do eyes with a 1, a 2 is sounding like the way to go then for me. I have a small brush I can do eyes with already when needed. Sounds like with the tip I might even be able to manage it with a 2 anyway. Thanks for the feedback all!

I do eyes with my 2, so yeah, shouldn't be a problem for you.
