I like the cultist models ok and I think I could paint them to look pretty dead. But I was wondering what other models are people using for the zombies? I'm guessing there has to be some mini company making some pretty bad ass looking zombies.

There's bunches of 3rd party stuff out there that works, even if it wasn't designed for 40k.

Of course I just use autogun cultists, they are far better.

A mixture of Warhammer Fantasy Vampire Counts Zombie Pieces with Imperial Guard Cadians. I cut off the Cadian arms at the shoulder pads and attach the zombie arms. Weapon wise, I give them a mixture of crude melee weapons and scrounged firearms. It can be expensive though. I only did it because I had some spare bitz and boxes lying around but it looks verynice.

Deathguard: 2500 - Ultramarines: 1500 - Imperial Guard - 1500
Bretonnia: 3500 - Warriors of Nurgle: 2000 - Vampire Counts 2000
