The deal is I made these cool kit bashed MM servitors for my henchmen army, but the more I think about it, the more I want to use plasma cannon servitors instead. But I don't want to make three more servitors, I want to use what I have. Suggestions on how to add to the MM to make it look more like plasma gun?

Under the couch

Chop off the melta muzzles. Drill a nice big barrel hole directly into the end of the gun.

Grab a paperclip and some needle-nosed pliers, and bend it up into a ridged channel to slip over the top of the gun to create the heatsink.

Easy plasma cannon.

Unfortunately I think that the aesthetics of the 2 weapons are a bit too distinct. However you could easily pick up some sentinel plasma cannons to use instead.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I clipped the end off the multimelta and replaced it with a ball of greenstuff that I sculpted to look enough like a plasma cannon muzzle.

I still don't like the multimelta design.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I am going to run them as 'counts as' plasma cannons for now since I have a million other things to build and paint before I tweak already painted models...
