hi Dakka
I was wondering does anyone know of a way to make my cultists more technologically advanced looking, because in the background of my war band "The Ghoulkin" their cultists are simplified versions of Skatarii if anyone has read the mortal engines novels think of stalkers, if you haven't I recommend you do great read! any way this is the way I imagined my cultists(just a little bit less cybernetics, and more skin showing(I enjoy painting skin)): my war band is themed around dark science and seeking new technology. Im just wondering where I can get some generic techi bitz to use on my cultists. Also what do you think of the idea yay or nay

How about the strain models from the sedition wars game?

I second the strain.

The storm golems from the oop game at-43 might work too, but i fear they are too techy for you. (But i don't know how well they scale next to warhammer models. But as they are oop they are somewhat hard to get.

And warmaschine's cryx also have some nice mechanical troops. But most of them are more like walking corpses with techbitz. Maybe they fit.

They are cool but do the cyrx come unasembled or would I have to go at them with a pair of clippers to get the bits?

Great idea but I like to arm my cultists with auto guns (I use them as a traitor guard army sometimes)
Maybe I could model the guns on the ground (as if they dropped them just before combat and brought out the claws!)

Those cryx model are - as far as i know - all metal models. And looking at the poses they are probably only a few pieces. So nearly no assemply required which is bad for bitz. You'd need a saw to cut them. Clippers will probably damage to much details ...

But i remembered some other models, namely the iron brotherhood from micro art miniatures. They are a bit pricey and mostly metal too but might work for you.
