									i try to avoid double foc games personally but every time i bring deffkoptas i run them 2 ways.
 5man squad with a Bikerboss if points dont let me take a bikernob list. Scout (including outflank) carries over to the Bikerboss so you can pull off some nifty things with that. Usually split them off because i dont like deffkoptas in the melee, plus id rather the TL rokkits popping bigger things than their lame Str4 on the charge banging on something they probably wouldnt hurt anyway.
 You can also take this even if you have bikernobz as they cost 225pts for 5 with tl rokkits, fairly cheap. Have the boss go with whichever you think would be best at the start (probably the koptas) and switch to the other when the one hes in gets a bit thin or needs to do something else (like i said, i dislike kopta melee)
 
 3man squad (1-2 depending on points, in a 2k id probably take 2) and if i have first turn i utilize Scout to cause some turn 1 damage...if i have second turn theyre in reserve ready to outflank. At 135pts for 3, its a very good potential tank popper (or pop some MEQs if you come across a number marine list).

									2K pts?  I run them much like Vineheart does, esp. if I know what I'm up against.  If there's going to be a lot of vehicles on the field that I'm up against, I let the TL Rokkits on my DeffKoptas handle them.  If my opponent is runing infantry heavy, I'll go with the TL Big Shootas just so that I can range them with the Koptas.
 Either way you run 'em, make sure you keep them moving since that lovely little Jink save has bailed my boys out more than once!

									Yea TL Bigshootas arent bad either, theyre a fair bit cheaper and good at anti-infantry. It also makes them less of a bullet-magnet because they dont have that massive punch power anymore. Some people run them TL bigshoota with a bikerboss since theyre the same strength/ap and want the same target, though i see an issue with that since you lose the bigshoota range if you use the dakkagun on the bike (half the range...hurts)
 On the flipside dont forget they are BIKES and as such increase toughness and have a standard 4+ save. Everyone seems to think that since they arent the wheeled bikes they dont have the 4+...they do and i'd rather that than the 5+ jink any day if i can lol. They also turboboost 24inches if they arent linked to a bike. Very useful for last minute linebreaker points, 36inch movement is pretty hard to block off especially when they can fly over enemy models.

									I use them as a twin-rokkit base for attacking the odd flier opponents may bring.
 I also use them as a bomb delivery system, not reliable, but if there are no vehicles I need dead, then they are useful.

									I run them as 3 units of 1, they come on and try for rear/side shots of vehicles.  If they can live through the next turn of shooting they just go hunting the stuff hiding in the back.
 I'll use them to charge the shooty guys.  The T5 thing really makes them hard to kill.  Plus if a unit is hiding in the upper floor of ruins, you charge the lowest level you can so they have to pile in and move off the upper levels to mess up their LOS if they live.

  Ya for that mission race them back & forth in your deployment zone til turn 5, then turbo them to claim/contest objectives.

									Deffkoptas are best used Mork style - outflank with TL  rokkit launchas. that will certainly crack almost any vehicle you can find out there in 'da big world filled wiv dakka and choppy fingeys'. don't forget that hit and run can save them from harm by choppy gitz. overall, a great hit and run unit. I never bother with buzzsaws - not worth the price.     |

									I take 3 with TL Rokkits and (sometimes) scout them up the board with an attached Warboss.
 I poise them behind a ruin and then fly over it, blow up a few marines, and tie them up for a while until my Warbikerz and Boyz arrive.

									Mostly I've run them as two units of two with T-L Rokkits across them all!
  Also as of late I've almost always placed them in reserve regardless if I have turn 1 or not and I've found that because of this I've been winning more recently, seeing that I can use them to contest in the later turns if needed. Thanks 6th edition for having a ton of objective scenarios!      They also helped me win all 4 games at the last tournament I took part in!

									I ran two squads of 3 DeffKoptas yesterday (all had TL Rokkits) and it worked out pretty decently.  One squad took out a Necron Ghost Ark and the other Squad nearly glanced the Necron Doomsday Ark to death.
 Out of curiosity, anyone ever run them with the buzzsaws?  Opinions on those?

									Figured as much.  I very rarely get into CC with them.  Sometimes my opponents manage to get lucky and charge them.  So I was kinda curious as to what the verdict on using the saws were.

									If you can manage rear armor shots with your outflanking I like to take bigshootas on mine.  They seem to either miss completely or shine.

									i'd rather have the rokkits if im intending them to take out vehicles. Most of the vehicles i want picked off because they cause an issue are either protected so i cant get to their backside or are AV11 which means bigshootas need a 6 to pen....unlikely as hell. Rather take the chances with rokkits cuz they usually pen when they hit.

  Yeah, vehicle hunting or MC  hunting with the Koptas.     That, and they make a great distraction when you're moving boyz up.
