I think Cthulhu Kickstarters are going to overtake Zombie KS number wise

Some type of Card Board game with some 28mm minis to go with it. Very Comic Book like artwork

Rise of Cthulhu: Battle for New York City, is a fun, easy, fast-paced battle game for 2 players. The Ancient ones and a group of Investigators fight in the streets of New York for the future of mankind.

Using the miniatures, character cards, and action cards, some players will play the role of investigators while others will be the ancient ones in face to face battles in the streets.

Choose which side you'll align with and challenge your friends for some great duels. The goal is to take control of the city by killing characters of your opponent. The first player to kill 5 characters wins. Each game lasts about a half hour and it's easy to learn and fun to play.

Agreed, though haven't decided if that's a good thing or not.

However, it sounds like they're not native English speakers, from how they write about their game, which makes me hesitate ...

Gah! I shouldn't have looked at that, one horrible inaccuracy jumped out at me. Miskatonic University is in Arkham not New York. If you're going to do a Cthulhu Mythos game at least get the basics right.

It really takes me back. I miss Jim Lee. On the other hand, I hate Rob Pocketfeld.

I'm more tempted for the superhero figures than for the Cthulhu figures, and those are some great Cthulhus. I will have to keep my many gelatinous eyes on this one.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Nothin at all...nothin at all....nothin at all...

The Hastur mini isn't bad actually, as long as that detail comes out in the final model.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Cthulhu's butt looks odd. Edit: And by odd, I mean out of place on the model.

I doubt I'll be putting any money in this, but the style looks neat.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

Wonder what brand he uses to wipe with?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
