Hello all, I've just started my Chaos Rhino and I feel it looks terrible. Thinking of stripping the paint and redoing it. Basically, my issues is the paint doesn't look smooth and nice compared to my Dark Angels marine. It looks as if I slopped it on and I took my time. I don't have any pictures of my WIP, but can post if needed.

Are there any guides or videos that shows how to paint one? I forgot which faction I'm going (I know there browns, black, gold) to paint this model.

Did you thin your paints?

I have no video or guide for you but i can say what i did.

At first i used colored primer from army painter that matched my army roughly.
Then i grabed a larger vehicle brush and thined the paint down.
Then i added many coats of color. (3 coats for the color similar to the primer and 4 or so coats with the other colors.

So to avoid visible brush strokes just use many coats of thinned down color.

I found this helpful a while back: http://fromthewarp.blogspot.com/2012/01/7-tips-for-painting-vehicles-without.html. I use an airbrush now, though. sooo much easier
