I just noticed, you can only buy Valkyrie models from GW. Is there a model for the vendetta? Or do you just have to convert some lascannons?

Either convert some yourself or FW sells a Vendetta conversion kit for a good chunk of change.

To clarify, no, there's no model for the Vendetta. However, it is just a Valkyrie with a weapon swap, so you can scavenge some lascannons from elsewhere and put it together pretty easily.

Personally I used Land Raider lascannons and put them flat against the undersides of the wings, but a lot of people like to put them on little turrets hanging down (which is what the FW one does as well)... I think that looks stupid though. ^^;

I used some predator turret TLLC I had kicking about and clustered the weapon hardpoints around the cockpit to bring the shot spread down.



Gives the pilot half a chance of hitting the same target with all 3 weapons without having to perform radical targetting maneuvers

You either buy a conversion kit from Forge World or add the lascannons yourself.

Yeah, vendettas are stupid easy to convert from valkyrie kits. Thankfully, there are several IoM armies, and all of them come with lascannons. In some cases, several units in the same codex will come with them. Getting the bitz isn't going to be that hard.

I love vehicle conversions, although I rarely bother to look at the gallery.

No picture, but I opted for tri-barrel lascannons on the weapon hardpoints on the Valkyrie. You get loads of lascannons from heavy weapon kits if you're building footguard, along with other useful heavy weapons, but otherwise, they aren't hard to come by.
