So I am starting to add space wolves to by IG and I am looking to make my guys that have the mark of the wolfen ability look more life a werewolf. So are their any links or suggestions on how to do so?

The easiest way would be to change the heads to something like those:
http://puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=7
http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_23&products_id=97

Or you could kitbash them. Use bare arms like from the chaos marauders and hands with clawlike fingers and add a little bit uf fur with GS. As hands ghoul hands from fantasy should work nicely.

I used Mark of the Lycans pack from Mythicast

Models are made with power armor legs and upper body of a werewolf.

Beastmen ungor heads. Gor arms, swap some of the hands for genestealer hands. GS fur onto the backs of the hands & remove the horns from the heads.

I actually did this a long time ago when there was a 13th co army & Wulfen ran in packs typically led by a wolf priest.

Oh wow those are all great solutions! The heads are really good and I will probably stick with that.

Thanks for the help!

I went super simple and just modelled my Wulfen models with two CCW to represent their berserker focus.

I did the Genestealer hand bit. Used Tamiya clear red for blood, though a drop of blue or purple in it would have been better. Made them look like they'd just gutted something. The one in my gallery had just decapitated an Ork.

Many people envision them as werewolves, but I've always seen them as mostly looking human, as they're still fighting to resist and just slip into it when they get into battle. I may go back and do head swaps on some or all if I found ones that weren't overtly werewolf heads. I'd like to see some pictures from fluff, but I can only think of one I've seen and he did look mostly human. As far as SW are concerned.

Yea thats what I noticed they still look very human, just with fangs. But reading the fluff they do if not cured or fail to beat the wolfen overcoming them will still change and look more bestly human like.

The old Wulfen models GW used to make look very much like the old Universal Studios Wolfman. Too bad they're so expensive on Ebay!

I think what I'll end up doing is going back and using the Ungor head and Green Stuff idea to retrofit them. Probably leave mine in mostly intact PA rather than bare armed.

The ones that totally lose control, as far as I've read, aren't kept around. Both because it's viewed as a disgrace, and because they're too out of control I imagine.

I think the Max Mini heads are the best pre-made option, as far as what I've been able to find. The Mark of the Lycan minis aren't bad but I'm not a huge fan of either sculpt really. Though with your painting skills, you could make them look awesome.

My thoughts too. Would be an easy conversion, but I think there are easier ones.

Some of the standard marine head you get in the spacewolves pack have fangs if you look closely so you would be able to use just those.

Found this:

I don't think it'd be too hard to Green Stuff some PA, maybe some would fit. Definitely more wolf-like.

Also, yeah, that's what I've used for mine for the moment. Though ALL SW have fangs.

I love that mini! If you really wanted the armor then if the mini is cheap just cut its hands and head off and put them on a marine body, I think that would look awesome!

I see I forgot to post the link to him.

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Bones/sku-down/77009

He's $2 US!! Super cheap. One of the better Werewolf mini's I've seen, IMO. He's perfect for conversion, I wouldn't mind cutting him up.

They're sold on Reaper's site but I don't believe they're Reaper models. Maybe they'll still have it!
