Short and sweet army. This was originally intended to form a highly mobile force used to extract high priority targets from battlefields, but became a force all of itself.

The battlesuits are conversions, and I've named them the 'Acuity' Pattern.

Really enjoyed this project which will be for sale soon via eBay.

Those are gorgeous; all of them look great. The paintjob and basing is great and goes really well together; provides a really weathered, realistic look too. Stunning models all-round, excellent job.
Love the varying conversions too: the drone, the ethereal, the fire warriors capes and of course the battle suits. Are those war walker parts on the latter?

Enlist as a virtual Ultramarine! Click here for my Chaos Gate (PC) thread.

"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of."
- Roboute Guilliman

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

@ Earthbeard; Take a closer look; there is no nose. You must've missed that.

@ Satan's little helper: No tutorial sorry; but I can tell you it was white primer with nuln oil and tharka green wash with re-highlighted white. It's not quite wet blending but it's close enough.

Amazing looking Tau force. I love the colors scheme and the bases really tie in the tau colors to their environment. Clean looking work, definitely an army to admire

Amazing work. Would you mind going into the steps you took and which paints you used? I love the look of this and would like to try something similar!

That is my kind of painting! A simple method that starting does not look like much but once done right. . . UGH! BEAUTIFUL!

It's the conversions that do it for me.You have made the suits look less block like imo.

Those shield drones are nice. Be cool to see some like that painted up with a sort of energy field in place of just the clear bases, but the idea is still solid and a nice alternative to the actual ones.

Wow, these boys are beautifull, the shield drones with the flying base trick look great, and the overall color scheme is staggering!
The ethereal conversion doesn't really do it for me, but it is well executed.

Did you just brush on the Wash in layers? or was it a single thick coat?

Stippling?

I can see the oil went over the whole model but what about thraka green? Was that just over certain parts?
